Are you Catholic?
If they are still "pro-choice" how have they stopped sinning? And if they are still "pro-choice" after their so-called private confession, how does a priest allow them to receive communion?
These are notorious public sinners who continue to bring scandal to the Church. They must repent publically and make reparation by renouncing their "pro-choice" -ness (publically).
When a person has scandalized the entire Church and society, there is no repentance without public repudiation of the sin.
It is a mortal sin for any minister of Communion to give Communion to Nancy Pelosi, because doing so is scandalous—unless she PUBLICLY repudiates her crimes.
Any priest or bishop who uses the excuse, “I must give her Communion because I cannot know whether she’s been to confession or not” is a LIAR.
Virtually all the victims were teenaged boys and young adults.
In the course of the entire scandal, from beginning to end—and it HAS ended—there were about six actual pedophile priests.
The phrase “pedophile priest scandal” is a lie—a lie deliberately repeated in order to conceal the fact that virtually all of the abuse was by homosexual men going after teenaged and young adult males.
Very...76 years old...some Catholic grade school, Catholic high school (Catholic Memorial, Waukesha Wisconsin), married for 54 years...3 wonderful, well educated sons.
to appease us they must do all that....to appease God, they have to follow HIS instructions seek and obtain absolution, do penance, vow to amend their behavior...what else can they do......and to those who espouse OSAS....they don't have to do anything....God already served their sentence for them....or something like that.
I understand what you’re saying, but they clearly do not have a purpose of amendment if they leave a confessional only to remain “pro-choice”. In doing so, they have made a mockery of the Sacrament. In doing so, they have not received valid absolution and they have not been forgiven by God.
Yes, I saw your profile after I posted that question. A pre-Vatican II Catholic too....:-)
I figured you would confirm my thoughts Father. I pinged you so that terycarl could see your response as well.
