Yeah, didn’t you read my post, I have been telling about Pope John Paul’s baptism ruling for many years here at FR. “” it is why I started posting the catholic churchs position on Mormonism, and photos of the Pope John Paul II decision on Mormonism, I was trying to awaken Catholics like GOP_Lady””
Here is an example from 2007, if you go to the link and post 89, you will see that I used to post the image.

Which begs the question, why do they accept all Orthodox/Protestant baptisms but not Mormon ones for conversion?
IIRC, JPII called Protestants separated brethren and clarified that Mormons were not. I think Ansel12 or diogenesis has the quote by John Paul II on Mormonism.

Why do your posts sound so angry about everything?
My only beef with you is your constant putdowns of the Catholic Church. So you are now telling me that you agree with the Catholic Church official ruling on the invalid baptisms of Mormans? If you are, good for you. So here it is again.
Whatever issues you have, are your own, not mine, that is why you need to not personalize your posting here and carry grudges from thread to thread, and rage at people for posting simple facts.
For instance what you have been posting at me today because I used Catholic Answers when posting about Mormonism.
Here is what Catholic Answers says from Akins special report.
“As one Mormon web site put it, Mormonism is the religion most consistent with biblical Christianity. We do not apologize for our beliefs. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true Christian church on the face of the earth.
The problem is people fall for itespecially Catholics.
In fact, Mormons count Catholics as their main target.
Over half of the current converts to Mormonism are Catholics.”
**Thats why Im hoping youll support Catholic Answers new project to expose the errors of Mormonism.
We want to give parish priests the materials they need so they can educate their parishionersand can keep their Catholics Catholic.
Thats why Catholic Answers is trying to head off a potential disaster among Catholics.
And were going to need your help to make this new project successful.
Heres what its all about
What Mormons Really Believe
There are many problems with the Mormon religion. In fact, the problems are so numerous, we had to write a special report just to explain and refute them all.
Its this powerful, eye-opening report that we need to get into the hands of as many Catholics as possibleas quickly as possiblebefore the Mormon juggernaut picks up more speed and takes in tens of thousands of our fellow Catholics.
This report was written by our director of apologetics, Jimmy Akin, who has done a masterful job of clearly explaining Mormon beliefs making sense of them and then charitably refuting them, one by one.**
And if that so-called Catholic Church was that bad why was it never reported? And, if it was reported and the abuse didnt stop you or any other parishoner that was devoted to the faith could have found another parish to attend. Thats one of the good things about being Catholic, if you dont like your priest or any other things that go on in the church, there is always another Catholic Church down the on the corner, with parishoners and a parish priest that actually try to live their faith, and have not been taken in by the protestantism/modernism that has destroyed many Catholic parishes in this country. And Catholic faith formation starts at home. Why did your parents put up with such a lousy parish?
Me thinks you painted the entire Catholic faith as being no good because of a very bad parish that you attended. So you should have left and found a REAL CATHOLIC CHURCH, not one that been taken over by catholics.
Protestantism never destroyed the Catholic Church. Only the Catholic Church can hurt itself by not giving the people what they need. When half the churches don't care about abortion or homosexuality, the people won't either. That is why so many are cafeteria catholics.
I go to a catholic retreat (silent) twice a year. I don't hate the church. I disagree with many things and respect other things in the church. I hate that the church allows people like Pelosi, the late Kennedy and Biden and other proabort and anti family people to continue to call themselves catholic. That and other reasons is why I left the church. I know that being catholic is not how you get into heaven. It's by faith in Jesus finished death on the cross that I can have eternal life. I know God allowed those things to happen when I was little so I would find Him as I did. So I thank Him for opening my eyes to the truth of mankind and how good God is.
Well I agree with you on this one Ansell and I have many Catholic friends one would be my father and family on his side and of course my friends and other Catholics.
Now as far as NKP_Vet I don’t know what his problem is, his church back ground has a lot of skeletons in the close too... so really there is no room to talk...
I won’t name them for you to use them as a battering ram, because I see it as all a part of birth pangs and making good sausage it is not pretty but everyone loves the end product...
If there was no The Church of Jesus Christ on the earth, I would have become Catholic, so I have a soft spot for those who I know that walk their faith.
If people were perfect there would be no need for Churches.
For some who claim to love the Bible in all my years here on FR are very weak in the Words of the Lord...
They prefer to spend their time in being disruptive and to sow words of discontent...
Jesus Said

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren
I was terrified of them.

I was, too. I dreaded Monday morning.
And....I am no longer Catholic.
Another nasty and inaccurate post, rather than an apology.
You were wrong and I was paying a price for knowing things that you didn’t know, I took the time to share the facts with you, and still not a peep from you about the correction.
You even read posts from me going back seven years and you still won’t admit the truth, instead you still say “If you are, good for you.”
Don’t personalize things, don’t attack every time you learn something about Catholics that you don’t want to know.
Shouldn’t you ping the poster you are talking about?
Here is a thread that you will love, Catholics are practically converting as they post, at least until the mean ole Jesus people show up to challenge the love fest for the religion of Mormonism.
To: Reaganesque
Query: what is the purpose of this thread? Do you post new talk every day?
Nice to see the Catholics joining with Latter-day Saints to celebrate the gospel message, as opposed to some of the bickering and attacks from the bigots of the religious right.

“When half the churches don’t care about abortion or homosexuality, the people won’t either”
You live a world I am not familiar with. I go to a very devout Catholic Church, and the vast majority of the 12 other Catholic Churches in the area where I live are also very devout Catholic. The Mass is very reverent. I am sorry you had a bad experience where you went to church. I would have left and found meyself a Catholic Church that abides by the teachings of the faith..........most do. The truth is the Catholic Church, no matter the experience you had with bad people. I feel sorry for you not being able to realize that. Click on the link below. You will find stories just like yours. They left, they searched, then they came home. God bless you.

I did but when I finished putting my post together I must have click the prep window before I have to back in an out a few times sorry NKP_Vet, I definitely wanted to include you it was an accident you were left out.
“Now as far as NKP_Vet I dont know what his problem is, his church back ground has a lot of skeletons in the close too... so really there is no room to talk...”
Yes I have a problem if you can it that. I expose heresy. I expose anti-Christian cults. I tell the truth about Christianity and the good things and bad things that have went on in the One, True, Apostolic Church, i.e., the Catholic Church, for the last 2,000 years.
Some can’t deal with the truth. There is no semblance to Christianity and Mormanism.

Do not make it personal and do not use potty language - or references or potty language - on the Religion Forum.
Your postings make no sense whatsoever. I have not been a Catholic all my life. I was a baptist for 58 years. I became Catholic on Easter Saturday 2008. It was the greatest day of my life. For a year I went to an RCIA class that was headed up a 72 year old gentleman that became Catholic at the age of 60. His faith journey took him to the majority of protestant denominations in this country. He was a prolific reader and had an advanced degree in theology. Other than my father I have never met a finer man. I will never forget what he told him about converting. He said “some of your friends will leave you, some will be family members”. He goes on to say they do this because of their lack of knowledge of Catholicism, and that most had been brow-beaten their entire life into believing that Catholic were not Christian. He said how it takes a strong person to be a good Catholic, because it’s not easy being Catholic and to not be discouraged when you hear things that make upset you about the faith. He said it is “you and the Lord, and finding truth”. He would end by always saying “I have been around the block, I have been in just about every faith there is that I can think of, and it all keeps coming back to the Catholic Church, this is the real deal son, this is the real deal”.
As far as knowing Morman baptisms were not accepted by the Catholic Church, I found that out during the one year long program that I did before I was accepted into the Church and I have posted many links on the various cults that have invalid baptisms and teach false scripture.
If I may ask how did you come by your view point Internet and others negative voices, going to a Church sacrament meeting etc?
My posts make total sense, but yours don’t, for instance that one.
I don’t care about your personal biography and anecdotes, they have nothing to do with my posts, it doesn’t make sense some of the time wasting things you post of anecdotal nature to challenge or distract from facts and reality, or whatever they are for.
I was posting about something you didn’t know about and were flaming me about, the extraordinarily high rate of conversion of Catholics to Mormonism, and the sympathy and indifference Mormonism gets from the Catholics here at FR.
were you baptized Catholic?
We have something in common. I could care less about anything you post. So do yourself a favor and never reply to anything again that I have posted. I don’t care to read it and others don’t care to read it. It’s the same ole same ole. So please don’t bother me anyone. And I will certainly show you the same courtesy. I am serious about this. One more word from you and I will consider it harrassment.
“were you baptized Catholic?”
Easter Saturday, 2008.
It clearly isn’t the same ole same ole, you wanted to argue about something that is inarguable.
Post 166 was accurate.
Well not all Catholics feel the same way...
