Corruption (sin) is in the heart of all men and women. Priests, pastors, nuns, bishops, etc. are no exceptions.

I agree, but the kingdom of God is within you not a certain physical Church organization, so there are no laws that a Church leader can make that would change it.

But my comment was in response to the comment i have heard at least a hundred times, that the Church is infallible.

After attacks upon it, from within and without for almost 2 thousand years, by every kind of heresy, apostasy, corrupt popes, and persecutions, if not infallible it certainly appears to be indestructible. It is the longest surviving institution on earth.

Satan has been around for almost 7 thousand years but i don,t think he is indestructible, and he is defiantly not infallible.

The job of the Church is to preach the Gospel to the world.

Then what?

The end will come.

The Catholic Church preaches the Gospel to 1/6 of the world’s population. Every mass begins with a prayer to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is at the center of every mass. The mass today is very similar to what it was when Justin Martyr described it in the 2nd Century.

Ok, i think the catholic Church has filled her obligation just the same as many others, that was not quite my point but that is fine.
