Always think you got the right answer. So You go back to it is always up to God not you. Hello. Doesn’t fit your exact formula. His Mercy is his mercy not A plus B chemicals of Formula equals C. His Divine Mercy is his Divine Mercy. It is not you declaring another human being it is God. Keep playing your Lawyer games.
So people who never heard it are all bound for hell. Amazing.Babies and children too?
“It is not you declaring another human being it is God.”
That’s the point. You are a wretch in the sight of God, the one and only judge. A man’s standards cannot get him to heaven, whether you like it or not. Sorry.
Babies have no sins to punish, though presumably if they’re not baptized, they go to limbo per Catholicism.
Sorry. lol your too much. What a character. lol
Twisting your way out of it by pointing the finger at me is a loser's game. Repent and realize the error of your ways or wear it and stop being a sissy and own up to your own words here.
presently no screen name you are are twisting words.
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
Watch your back.
Not sure what you mean by that, but I can imagine. If it’s what I think you mean, then I’ve already gotten some flack for daring to question the actions of the Pope on this forum. It won’t make me popular, but that’s okay.
That's exactly what I mean. I know of at lest two traditionalist Catholics who actually believed Catholic teaching was supposed to remain unchanging who were literally run off this forum by the Catholics here. They actually called them "Protestants" and "anti-Catholic bigots" because they dared to oppose Vatican II liberalism.
Most of the Catholics here, no matter how "reactionary" their screen names, are Vatican II neo-cons who subscribe to the philosophy of "magisterialism:" ie, all that matters is what the magisterium says today. The teachings of the past centuries mean absolutely nothing. They can all be discarded into an Orwellian memory hole along with the Syllabus of Errors. Like the liberals, their history begins with Vatican II--they just interpret it conservatively instead of liberally.
There's a member here who calls him/herself "TradicalRC" (courtesy ping). Does that sound like a reactionary name or what? He/she doesn't even believe that all people are descended from Adam and Eve, even though Pius XII in Humani Generis ruled out polygenism altogether. So now Pope Pius XII was a "redneck!"
::Sigh:: Although, of course, I don't know but what you're a polygenist yourself. Nowadays Catholics think they have to defend evolution and nineteenth century liberal Protestant Biblical criticism to prove they're not Protestants! I've seen conservative Catholic forums where any doubt about evolution is greeted with cries of "you're a PROTESTANT!!!" Kinda ironic, really.
I used to think like what you describe as neo-Catholics who act as if the Catholic Church began with Vatican II. I think I had a good excuse though...I was a convert, so everything I learned about the Catholic Faith came from the post-Vatican II catechism. I didn't know anything about the pre-Vatican II church.
In the past year or so, I have been looking into traditionalist concerns and how they relate to pre-Vatican II teachings..... and I most definitely see their issues. For awhile I didn't want to know, but once you start to see it, it's pretty hard to ignore.
