God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Hebrews 1:1-2

“But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes. Matthew 10:23

“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS. “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Matthew 16:27-28

“Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. Matthew 23:36

“Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Matthew 24:34

This is just a tiny sampling of the verses that foretell Christ’s return in judgment upon Jerusalem before His generation had passed: a return every single apostle and writer of the New Testament expected within their lifetime. They expected His return while they yet lived because He told them He would come back for them.

Now, either He did as He promised or He did not. But if He did not, then He is not who He claimed to be and the Jews are quite justified in believing Messiah has not come.

But if they’re right, then the entire New Testament is completely and utterly wrong.

Christ’s words are either true or they are not, but you cannot make them say something they don’t.

Take them or leave them but no one should presume to twist them.

There is no Biblical basis that Christ secretly removes believers for 7 years and then comes back again for anyone else...

Correct! There's not even a seven year tribulation, it's 3.5.

Enoch

Book 1: Watchers
Chapter 1

1 The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be 2 living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

And it's confirmed in the 'wheat and tares' parable. The wicked are to be removed! The L-RD's prayer says, 'your kingdom come' not run.

Enoch and Yeshua, two witnesses, and speaking about two witnesses... remember John is on the isle of Patmos.

Revelation 1:19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this...

Revelation 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

"...which will take place after this..and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

Notice, after this that you'll not find any reference to a seven year time period, 42 months, time, times and half a time, etc all 3.5 years. Half for the Anointed One and half for the ruler.

So what to make of Daniel 9's middle of the week?

25 ‘Know and understand this: from the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven “sevens”, and sixty-two “sevens”. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two “sevens”, the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: war will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one “seven”. In the middle of the “seven” he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.’

In the middle of the seven (shmita cycle) He (Yeshua) will put an end to the sacrifice (It is finished). Google 'Jesus three and a half years' and you'll find that's how long His ministry was... Also Passover 3790 (30 CE) is the middle of a shmita cycle.
