The university is the oldest and largest in Belgium. It was founded in the 1400s under the approval of the Vatican. But as modern Europe has secularized, so has the University, and even here, faith has come under fire.
We found that people who had worked for any time in the cancer ward where my SIL was treated were very faithful and believed. They had seen it work so many time. They also saw how faith carried patients and families through the storm with more peace and strength.
Amen to every bit of that.
In my humble opinion, much of religion is fueled by power and money. Science is fueled by those same ingredients.
This life is a test. We are not follow men and their opinions. We are follow the Word with our hearts, by the directions of the Holy Spirit.
Only by faith and the pursuit of His Will do we remain in the light.
Spread the seeds wherever you may go and enjoy whatever comes to you, brother.

Goodness knows I've never heard an evolutionist laugh at anything other than that.
You'd figure that even if liberals would never go to a "redneck" healing service they'd at least go to a Black one. After all, they regard American Blacks, fundamentalist worship services and all, as the new Hegelian "thesis of history," replacing the "working class." And they certainly don't seem to see any connection between Black fundamentalist churches and white ones.
So why do they ignore local Blacks and go to Mongolia? What are they . . . racists?
