Two things:

First, saying you have “no religious preference” does not mean you have no religion. It doesn’t even mean you are not a Christian believer.

Second, how do we reclaim the unchurched? We reclaim our own vision and offer that: Christ on a Cross, Christ’s real resurrection, His gifts to us of redemption, salvation, forgiveness, and a life of wholeness (holiness) for individuals and families.

And, then, be there when they begin to question the emptiness of the life the world offers.

For those of you here who have faith in God, we should remember that God judges nations and individuals, but He also knows who His servants are.

Throughout the Bible, God's faithful ones lived among the pagans, the wicked, and the violent. The Almighty has the power to send armies of angels to protect and deliver those who fear Him. Those that He loves.

Be encouraged. God rules in the affairs of men.

"For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses--even to the lowliest of people."

Daniel 4:17

Mike Hout, one of the researchers on this paper, is the same Berkeley professor who, along with a few of his first year sociology grad students, published the bogus and now thoroughly debunked study of the effect of electronic voting in Florida during 2004 presidential election.

Original 2004 news story:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/uc-berkeley-research-team-sounds-smoke-alarm-for-florida-e-vote-count-75486372.html

Wired magazine article discussing the debunking Hout’s e-vote analysis:

For what it’s worth, I don’t believe Hout is stupid. I just think he has very little issue with skewing analysis to fit his (far Left) political agenda. I’m skeptical of any paper with his name on it.

“People are embracing reason and logic in place of superstition and ignorance? I’m shocked!”

The University has gone from the science and reason pursuing establishment that the Church gave to the world to the leftist cesspool it is today, so I’d say you got it exactly backward.

That’s true, it’s a Buzerk-ly study so what did they do survey the bathhouses of SF? I’m sure they could also come up with a study showing 99.96% of the population favors 0bamacare.

Exactly. I figure reason and logic will be legally classified as “hate crimes” any day now.

Truth must of necessity be stranger than fiction...for fiction is the creation of the human mind, and therefore is congenial to it. - GK Chesterton

His writings are inspirational. The Everlasting Man and Orthodoxy are two of my favorites.

It’s an Obamaville Marxist fad. Men and women thinking with their lady’s parts which serves those who want to “rule” over them.

Americans should get away from religion and instead have a personal relationship with their Lord and Savior. Christianity is not a religion. Religions are not Christianity.

Sure there is look around you at nature. This did not come from nothing.

2) Your heart, if you are honest is wicked (you may claim but I do GOOD), but if you are honest this still doesn’t satisfy because it is done with your own righteous standard...God will still judge you and you won’t find peace untill you trust Christ.

Here’s hoping that God opens your eyes. -JS
