To the Caped Crusaders of blog-pimping, note I have not "excerpted" my article. That is my Christmas present to you. I did say I would not post here anymore, however, I felt the topic to be too important NOT to post. To all other FREEpers, please pass it on. Bless you all, have a wonderful CHRISTMAS!!

How do you explain that Christmas was once banned in America...who was responsible for that? Why Was Christmas Banned

I will respond before I even read your link. I think Christmas as we know it should come to an end. Truly, it is not about Jesus anymore. You won’t find lights, or a tree, or any kind of traditional Christmas decoration in my home. I have decided that Christmas is a holiday for retailers. It is no longer about Christ. That, and the fact that all of our traditions have Pagan roots. I’m done celebrating Christmas... and I’m not the only one.

I apologize for the lack of HTML coding; that is why I previously posted an excerpt of my blog because I am not schooled in HTML. But some FREEpers took offence to my posting and excerpt, so... that’s why it looks crappy.

Why end principles that so many of the founders gave their endosement to?

Unless, of course, on wishes to wreak the country, which would mean, in time, handing it over to islamists, in which their would be no atheism tolerated at all.

True, that. As the Bible predicts, we will become hated. We will be persecuted against. It’s all happening now.

Merry Christmas to my detractors. I have posted article from my blog; it looks rather lousy without the proper italics, boldness, etc. But this is what you demanded. Hope you are satisfied!

"I think Christmas as we know it should come to an end."

The Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey response to the commercialization of the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior.

The small number of faggots and atheists that have so much power in this country have that power because the majority of those who claim to be Christian put all the sins they love on their "Christian Liberty" list and check it twice to make sure they can be naughty not nice.

When it comes to publicly celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, though, they figure why bother taking the celebration of Christ back from those who stole it when it's easier surrender to the world on that the same way they surrendered to the world on everything from murder with contraceptives to ordaining queers to show them they're loved.

The communist liberal war on Christianity is one of the main reasons that American society is coming unglued and we are witnessing atrocities like Newtown, Ct.

God be with us.

Yes it is. It is the “falling away” and once America is no longer a nation where people are born Christian, then only true believers will be Christians. I didn’t want to see this in my lifetime, but I guess we play the hand we’re dealt. These secular humanists are fulfilling prophecy and they’re the ones who are going to suffer greatly for it.

It's real hard to do that if you have kids. In our case, we do have secular/cultural decorations but also have the TV tuned to EWTN. And the Nativity scene displayed prominently.

Several years ago American Atheists threatened to sue the Panola County Mississippi School Board near my home because every football game at South Panola County High began with prayers. Guess what? The good Christian families ignored this hatred and continued to pray before every game. The word around town was there’s not enough jail cells or lawyers to keep us from praying when and where we wish.

Also I recently served on jury duty at the Desoto County Courthouse in Hernando and every session began with prayers by the judge.

God Bless the Great State of Mississippi!

Since you feel strongly that Christmas as we know it should come to an end, would you please provide for us all a list of businesses that you, your children, your family or friends own, operate, work for, or profit from so we can stop buying their goods and services and other things that help us celebrate Christmas as we know it. Since Christmas sales sometimes make or break a business I’m sure you wouldn’t mind if all of the ones you and your family are associated with lose lots of money or better yet, go out of business.

I knew when I said that I would face criticism, and that’s ok. I’m not trying to stop anyone from celebrating Christmas, but rather the way that it is. Highly commericalized, secular...children wake up to loads of presents, which puts a strain on many family finances. People pile on debt each year to make sure their kids got what they wanted, and it puts a strain on their finances for who knows how long? Really, what do gifts, unless we are going to equate it God’s gift of Jesus Christ, His free gift of salvation, the gifts brought to Jesus as a baby...what does it have to do with the birth of Jesus Christ? The aformentioned reasons are a stretch. So, while many retailers count on Christmas season to make it to stay in business, there are many negative effects on people financially. Retailer can find another way. In any event, this is only my opinion - I know very well that Christmas as we know it is never going to end.
