Praying
You have my prayers, brother.
sometimes all we can do is pray men.
Dear FReeper Family,
Our hearts are filled with such gratitude and thankfulness to all of you for lifting Sarah and her family up to the Lord in prayer. My brother and sister-in-law are on their way across the coastal South and through Texas to El Paso to be at Sarah’s side. As soon as Paula has news, she will send it to family members en route or standing-by.
I’m sorry I was not able to make a respondents’ list until tonight, so some of you might have missed the previous update. I wish I had news to convey, but the breast cancer has metastasized into Sarah’s brain. The doctors are working to reduce the swelling, but she remains unconscious and in grave condition.
The good news about Sarah is that, without the anxiety and confusion of the day before, she is resting better. God has heard our prayers. As the Good Shepherd holds the injured lamb protectively in His arms, He is holding dear Sarah.
FRiends, we know you will continue to place this youngest sister in your thoughts and prayers, and we, in turn, are offering our prayers for all of you in sincerest gratitude and thankfulness.

Continued prayers for Sarah and her family. God bless you all.
Thanks for the update. Will keep praying for Sarah and all her family.
Thank you for the update. Continuing to pray.
I know this is a very trying time for you and the family and our prayers are as much for all y'all as well as Sarah. You are right, she is in our Lord's hands and there is not a safer nor better place TO be. We don't know the reasons why things happen the way they do, but, as Christians, we DO know that God works ALL things together for our good. If his perfect will is not to heal Sarah then we know that she will be at peace with Him in Heaven. That is the blessed assurance he gives us so that we do not sorrow like those do who have no hope.
We lift you all up before the King of kings and Lord of lords to send his minstering angels to your sides to comfort and give you the grace to accept what will be. And we know that as long as Sarah is still alive, there is hope for a miracle - which is not impossible with the ONE to whom all things are possible. God bless you.
Appreciate this truth. Thank you, Marine_Uncle, and thanks to all.
prayers for Sarah and family
HE loves her more then anyone can perceive. It is up to HIM to decide based on the many prayers lifted up to her, as how HE sees things should turn out. We all can only hope HE shall find favor in her and keep her around for some time. For both her loved one’s desire as well as things she may do in the future.<br
Stay strong.
So glad to hear that Sarah is resting more comfortably today. You all be sure to rest too FRiend.
May God keep watch.

I’ve met and enjoyed the company of Sarah, but I mostly know about her from the loving, hilarious, and warmly-related stories told by her sister and her Florida family. Sarah is an exceptional woman of faith, devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, citizen, and artist. My sister-in-law and her family are hurting terribly, and I hurt along with them. They lost their brother Bob recently, and now it looks like they will lose Sarah.
Our family is also grieving the loss last week of our last uncle, my late father’s brother. It was sudden. He was ten days shy of his 91st birthday, but still walking the two blocks to the park and back, and tending to his own personal needs, all shaved and polished-up every morning for breakfast. It is a sad time for both sides of the family, but we trust in God’s plan for us and rejoice in His will; that He sees and knows our faith and hope in Him.
Boatbums, thank you so much for your eloquent and beautiful words of comfort and truth.
And, on behalf of Sarah and Paula’s family, thanks to all of you. Your heartfelt prayers and words of comfort and support are an enormous blessing. Tomorrow, I will forward this ongoing thread to Paula, so she can share it with the family. I know your words of sympathy, hope, and reassurance will be deeply felt and tremendously appreciated.
