This is a man after my husband’s heart. My husband will not allow anyone in his company to use the term “gay” when talking about homosexuals. The minute they do, he says, “I’m gay! I feel happy most all of the time.” My poor sister, born in 1949, is named Gay and I feel sorry that her name, which is a beautiful name, has been so bastardized and degraded. It makes me sick how young children today only know the homosexualized version of the word, and don’t even know that it has another meaning that preceded its current use.
