Politicians ought to tread carefully when making accusations against any government whether it be the Vatican or another foreign government. We should remember that it was the Vatican under the leadership of JPII who helped Reagan and Thatcher to undermine the Soviet Union and the communists in Eastern Europe. There may well be another plausible explanation for the events in Cuba.
