Just stumped on that one are you?

No that link was an opinion...below is where the picking started....you could have scrolled by if you didn't agree or given a comment addressing the issue instead the same old snarky remarks.....further your post sounded like a grade school kid whining over someone else starting it first....sometimes it's just good to look over something which might be considered an offense....adults do this as you know.

-----------------------------------------------------------

What would you do without the strawman church you’ve invented for yourself?

No that link was an opinion..

Yeah, an 'opinion' on the Church. I replied with my opinion on his/her opinion.

Now you're picking on me. Or is it just your opinion about my opinion?

All Beauty is from God. As is all truth and goodness. Religious art, particularly these classics of Western Civilization are both beauty from God and with content that can the mind to recollect, in this case, the life of Our Saviour and the significance of His last meal, and His words to His Apostles... It is much like scripture. And art was an early form of teaching in the early church for this reason.

Is this responsive to your question?

I haven’t seen those you defend complaining. If they have a problem with my posts they merely need stop attacking the Church.

If you have a problem with my posts, you can just keep picking.

Or as you say, “be a man, and let is slide.”

Some day you will learn...today is obviously not that day. Further you think you defend your church but how you do so is not a defense....it's snarky and in bad taste. Address the topic instead of mouthing off as you do, then you can be taken seriously. But your snarky responses are juvenile.

As I noted, a small few on here seem only to use the forum to attack the Church, most often with precious little knowledge repeating shop worn ignorance. Debunking does no good, truth is of little value, logic and consistency unknown.

Others are capable of actual theological debate. Sometimes, I can also participate thoughtful and respectful discussion. But not where it’s of no use.

Perhaps someday you will read both sides of the exchanges. And note some correlation in my replies.

Until then...

pax tecum

I don’t fear to answer. I had some dishes to do and other work. It was I who asked you the question and wondered why you didn’t answer it. Why do you suppose fear is involved?

Sorry, it was MarkBsnr I originally asked the question of. Just went back and checked that. It’s getting late and I am a bit tired. Let’s continue all of this tomorrow. Praise The LORD!

The advantage of being your own Pope, sole arbiter and only decision maker, is that you can ignore, rewrite or even excise entire passages from Holy Scripture. Probably not something God approves of, but it can be vastly profitable (for a time) in this life.

When you are a profit/prophet why then anything can be excused or explained away. The only difference between Osteen and Macpherson is gender (perhaps not).
