What I meant was that in order to truly “understand” it one must not just READ it but STUDY it as well. This is the reason why many leave the faith. Because they didn’t take time to study it. I use interlinear concordances.

Which made me wonder if you’d actually read the article because it is overwhelmingly apparent that he meant more than to just process the words as one does when reading a paperback novel.
Jesus is not related to Joseph. Is HE? How can Jesus be related to David? Give me a clue.
Simply explain to me how Jesus is not the Son of God but is of the loins of .the great sinner. David through “Joseph” the step father of Christ on Earth. Don’t tell me that Mathew 1 or Luke 22 is actually “Mary’s” linage because I can actually read and the word “Joseph” is used as the beginning point of both linages. ( which contradict each other massively) . I am quite saved, thank you,through simple belief in Christ as the Son of God. (Jn 3:16).There is no other requirement. (remember the thief on the cross).
