Who appointed you to speak for Jesus Christ? [Vigilate]
Same question can be asked of you. Does special underware grant you that authority? [’Zilla]
- - — - - -
Zilla, did you forget? The Mormon Jesus shares His High Priest status and priesthood with Mormon men?
Contrary to the Bible of course.
HMMMM, i boat on the Delaware River. last time i looked, there has never been a shark in the river. but thanks for sharing.
The Bible and personal experience (see tagline). They believe in and follow a false Christ. They rely on a system of works and reject grace.
so if the choice is romney v. zero, you would vote for zero???? you can start your own site, wankers for zero. obuma will have so much campaign cash, i’m sure he’ll fund you.
And you call me a bigot based upon what??
Bigotry comes from ignorance, I am not ignorant when it comes to the LDS, not at all. I lived it for several years before God rescued me from it, and from Hell.
Are you LDS?
I’m already on an anti-Romney/anti-Obama site, the question is, what are you doing here supporting and defending Mitt Romney?
i would never support a socialist, homosexual promoting, abortion loving, pro-tax thug like Obama over Romney. why would you?????
My personal experience with Mormons is real, though limited. I do know that Mo Udall, at least, described himself as not being a serious Mormon (though his family goes WAY back).
In some ways, Mormonism strikes me as being almost tribal, like Judaism (except Jews don’t proselytize). That is, they are able to separate their personal code from how they vote easily and completely.
Joe Lieberman is supposed to be an Orthodox Jew, and yet has no problem voting for abortion funding. I suspect that the pro-abort Mormons must be able to think something similar, almost grouping violations of the natural law (abortion) with their religion’s positive disciplines (e.g. no coffee or spirits for Mormons, no pork for Jews).
I have known a number of Mormons who are conservative in their politics, and I won’t write them off. Utah votes more conservatively on average than its non-Mormon neighbors for the most part. Heavily Mormon Idaho even more so.
Thanks, CC, and well stated.
If you want to mock being against Mitt Romney and use JR’s words to do it, then why not ping JR himself.
No where is freedom of thought and speech so little valued as at freerepublic.com. As for me, I will support the Republican nominee, no matter who it is, in order to get Obama out of office.
- - - - - -
Romney IS Obama, just with an R after his name. I will NEVER vote for Romney and if he is the Rep Nominee, it shows that the Republican party no longer represents me and many others.
BTW, I wonder how JR would feel about your comment about freedom of speech and thought being little valued here. Maybe you should go pimp Romney over at DU, Chips.
Religion is a personal issue between the person and God.
- - - —
That is not biblical and also against the teachings of the Catholic church.
what are you talking about? i am mocking you. who is JR?
Only Islam and some of the human sacrifice jungle cults should be automatically dismissed from consideration.

I disagree. This country cannot be turned around by anyone but committed conservative Christians. Mormons are not Christians.
And they prefer to spread their religon via insult and lying. Although their founder Joseph Smith did say that he would be a second Mohammed and one day it would be ‘Joseph Smith or the Sword’. I can give you the full quote if you wish.
Mormonism is a lot closer to Islam than many Americans realize, and the LDS would rather work with Muslims than Christians (as seen in Haiti). I can also give you sources for that as well.
I am as well. Praise God I have been delivered from the clutches of Mormonism.
Which is exactly why some of us, who do know LDS doctrine and teachings are so vocal here. Some are saying Romney’s religon doesn’t matter, but if he gets the nomination it WILL matter, and in a big way. It will be the forefront of the attack in the general election.
That said, most LDS will vote for a Mormon over a non-Mormon every single time. Romney will be the fulfillment of the ‘white horse prophecy’ in many minds (he already is in his own) and the LDS have been looking forward to a Mormon president ever since Joseph Smith was running in 1844.
So you don’t believe in the Biblical mandate to evangelize?
JR is the owner of this site, Jim Robinson, there will be no Romney support at freerepublic.
To show another post from the owner.
FReep U Romney and the RINO you rode in on! As God is my witness, before this is over I will ZOT every last abortionist/socialist RINO Romney supporter from this pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty CONSERVATIVE forum!!
Rebellion is brewing!!
DONT TREAD ON ME!!

Reagan had great trust in Mormons because of their ethics and lifestyle. They believe The Constitution was divinely inspired. Utah is a well run state. What else can you find wrong?
- - - - -
Reagan had a blind spot when it came to the LDS. They believe the constitution was divinely inspired but written by APOSTATES who were part of the ‘whore of Babylon’. They also believe that the garden of Eden and Christ will reign from MISSOURI. I wouldn’t call Utah a well run state, it leads the country in bankruptcies and mortgage foreclosures as well as white collar crime.
A Mormon POTUS would be an absolute disaster. We don’t need any more politicians who place feelings over facts (like the LDS do). We don’t need any POTUS who is auditioning for Godhood.
i need to vote to save my country from its current downward slide. i am not worried about mormon theology politically,
- - - - -
Gonna have to disagree with you here. Voting for Romney will do NOTHING to stop the current downward slide. Romney IS Obama politically.
And MOrmon theology will have a very strong impact politically.
Check out the book “When Salt Lake City Calls” by Rocky Hulse. The author makes a great case for why a Mormon POTUS would be disastrous for this country and how their theology controls their political views.
