Initially, I, too, was in denial. I loved Fr. Corapi. But he is in deserpate need of help & I pray he gets it.
BTW, did anyone else notice the creepy eyebrows in addition to the goatee & jacket? Why would anyone wax their eyebrows to such a sharp arch then dye them jet black??? Creepy!!!!!!!
I would like to thank Fr. Longenecker for his words of wisdom. Something everyone needs to remember in this age of instant media and the cult of celebrity going full force.
When did it happen that writing became so colloquial? I find it really jarring — kind of like being at the Mall with the writer.
The entire look creeps me out, especially after years of seeing him in clericals. I had not noticed the eyebrows ... you are quite perceptive. And here is another poke in the eye from the former priest. Check out the box ...
Daily prayers continue for Fr. John Corapi.
This statement, and so the entire tirade, is repeating the SOLT's slander as fact. Fr. Corapi is suing his slanderer in court. Would the pious author have the decency to wait for the outcome?
I’ve never heard him speak and I’m not Catholic, but the post on his blog about Sheep, Wolves and Sheepdogs seemed very well written and true to life.
Best I've read during all of this mess.
Despite what Corapi has done, he has indeed spoken truth and has brought many to the Church. I hope those individuals don't lose faith over Corapi's fall. And I hope that he will one day come clean, confess his sins, seek forgiveness from the Church, and really seek what God has planned for him ... instead of his own interests.
I loved Father Corapi. But, when the allegations came up, I have to say that I wasn’t suprised.

Father Corapi at the beginning of his Catechism show: “At the end of eternity, we will all be either in heaven or in hell.” (I don’t remember the exact phrasing.)
I was really creeped out when he shaved off his beard and left the goatee. He looks just like artistic depictions of the destroyer. Why would he want to look like the enemy? It boggles my mind. (I knew then that something strange was going on.) He also echoes the enemy: “I will not serve.”
We need to petition St. Padre Pio’s prayers for him!

The allegations listed by the accuser in that blog make my head spin. This whole thing I suspect is very sick & we only know the tip of the iceberg.
