Romney’s unsuitability for the Repuke nomination has NOTHING to do with his religion and EVERYTHING to do with his wishy-washy positions on key issues of the day.
Sure it can happen the ignorant cool-aid drinkers already elected a muslim.
I don’t care what RELIGION the President is .... AS LONG AS they FOLLOW the Constitution! We have a current commie in the White House of questionable religious background....his supporters seemed to care NOT about THAT.
That’ll do and of course there’s MORE. A lot more. Romney is totally unacceptable. He has the blood of the unborn on his hands.
the soros media never brings up evil Harry Reid’s Mormom faith ! So why does Mittens have to be asked this stupid question.
Mittens is a disaster on SO MANY LEVELS , his faith is non of our business.
That is his beard, just like we see with other closet Romney pushers, they will prod Romney forward, while prodding Palin back, all the while claiming their dream candidates as people that we all know will not be a true primary threat to Mitt Romney.
Beck gave an opinion that Romney would win the nomination if Palin didn’t run. That isn’t a statement of support, it was a simple opinion.
Hope that wasn’t too offensive to you.
How do you know his wishy-washiness isn't related at all to Mormonism?
The Mormon god is "shifty," too, is he not?
Did he not...
...Condemn polygamy in the 1830 Book of Mormon,
...Only to have Joseph Smith to start "practicing" it with his 16 yo live-in maid, Fanny, in 1831?
...Only to then change his mind & begin to push polygamy more underground in 1890?
...Only to then have his "general authority" Lds servants "solemnize" a couple hundred more plural arrangements between 1890-1910? (See B. Carmon Hardy's book A Solemn Covenant)
...Only to then root it out almost completely by the 1930s?
...Only to then "inspire" Lds apostle Bruce McConkie in his book "Mormon Doctrine" to say that polygamy would be re-instituted when the Mormon jesus returned? [And don't Lds believe in eternal polygamy -- even if they now eschew (for the time being) earthly polygamy]
Boy, talk about ambivalence!
If the Mormon god can flip-flop and bandy about the institution of marriage as frequently as that over a 180-year period, then Mitt is just a chip off of the old block!
And it doesn't end there.
Several Mormon sacred books have racist comments about skin color, and blacks were kept out of the Mormon priesthood til 1978. At that point, the Mormon god changed his mind about the priesthood, yet only changed his mind about one of those racist verses in their sacred books -- one in the Book of Mormon -- where he had his "servants" rewrite a word supposedly written in a "gold plate" and then interpreted by the "power of God." The Mormon god told Lds leaders to change the phrase "white and delightsome" to "pure and delightsome."
Hmm...what words coming from "gold plates" translated by the "power of God" will next undergo social transformation???
I can go on and on. The point is that "flip-flop" Mitt simply has taken on the character of his god. (Shouldn't he be "commended" for such "Mormon god-liness"???)
Let me frame in a similar way how Romney's wishy-washiness has been deeply ingrained by his Mormon leaders over the years in so many ways. First, I'll highlight the Mormon god; then Romney:
Does the Mormon god care about skin color?
Yes, pre-1978.
No, pre-1978.
Yes, if you still believe the Book of Mormon & Pearl of Great Price, half of Mormon "scriptures"...
...and yes, if you believe D&C 134:12...a third Mormon scripture.
No, if you believe Lds Inc's PR Dept.
Does the Mormon god think polygamy is abominable?
Yes, if you believe the Book of Mormon.
No, if you believe Mormonism's Doctrine & Covenants.
Yes, if you believe Mormonism's policy on threatening members who take a second simultaneous spouse on earth.
No, if you look at Lds doctrine on eternal marriage & realize some of their top leaders have been sealed for eternity to both of their wives, married in serial fashion.
Yes, polygamy is abominable if you believe in the 1830 Mormon church.
No, if you believe in the Mormon church of the 1850s to the early 1900s...when they still were secretly solemnizing plural unions.
Yes, if you believe what they said in 1890.
No, if you believe Lds "apostle" Bruce McConkie's Mormon Doctrine book, where he called polygamy a "holy practice" that would be re-instituted when the Mormon jesus returns.
As for Romney himself...Is Romney "pro-life"???
Not the early Romney, who embraced pro-abortionism from his mom when she ran for senate.
Not the 1994 Romney, who attended Planned Parenthood events and had his wife write them a check.
Yes, the 2001 Romney said he wasn't pro-choice per a letter to the editor in a Utah newspaper.
No, the 2002 Romney wasn't...he campaigned for MA gov as pro-abortion...and even sought out pro-abortion voters' guides to get his pro-abortion message out.
Yes, the late 2004 Romney was when he said he realized what embryonic research was.
No, the 2005 Romney wasn't when he promised he would maintain the pro-choice status quo position on abortion in that state (statement made May 2005).
Yes, Romney said in his early 2007 campaign speeches that every action he took as gov was "pro-life."
No, Romney signed pro-abortion healthcare for Mass...opening the door wider for taxpayer-funded abortion in that state and failed to veto a section of his bill that retained a member of Planned Parenthood as a permanent board member.
Yes, Romney told Chris Wallace that he NEVER saw himself as "pro-choice" 'cause he didn't "feel" "pro-choice"...(August, 2007).
No, Romney told Katie Couric in December of 2007 that parents could either give up their embryos for "adoption" or for research.
Thanks for the cursing, but the quote was not out of context.
From mediaite:
Glenn Beck and radio pals Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere rattled down the list of potential Republican nominees for President in 2012 this morning, and they had some bad news for the Tea Party movement: Sarah Palin probably wont run, Ron Paul is still and long shot, and Mitt Romney, as of now, is the GOPs best bet.
While Gray and Burguiere are harsh to most of the candidates, Beck spreads the love around. He tells his co-hosts that he likes Palin but doesnt think she will run, Bobby Jindal but doesnt think he has the charisma, and Congressman Paul but doesnt think America is ready for him. Then, at the bottom of the pile, he finds Mitt Romney:
I have to tell you that Mitt Romney could be the only guy that could win, and I dont know if he could because I think that Americans are going to be I mean, this country is going to be in deep trouble by 2012, and the next term, if its not decided this term, the next term will decide our fate. Then I hope that Americans are ready for an adult and are ready for hard news.
The actual audio and context is worse than the quote, especially when you hear the Palin to Romney transition.

By all means then, tell all the Christians to bring their missionaries home if the faith of others is "none of their business."
Let's just stop trying to convert Muslims, too. That way they can continue to convert thousands by force and oppression and persecution without anybody getting in their way, spiritual libertarian style!
I didn’t ping the moderator, they must have caught the obscenity themselves, but you are inaccurate in what Beck said, I posted the audio in post 32.
He did. Mediaite has the entire exchange about all the candidates that just happen to include Romney and Palin. In fact Mediaite says Beck finds Romney at the bottom of the pile and points out that he was just analyzing the field of potentials.
>> but ultimately Beck was trying to determine who could win, not who he thought should. If Beck was playing process of elimination, which he clearly was,.....<<

If Sarah Palin becomes a Mormon, then yes, a Mormon can take the White House.
As for RINO Romney, not even if Obama gets caught on tape pillow-biting with one of his buddies.
You can’t compare the anti-Christian media’s interests, with the Christians that make up the base of the conservative movement’s interests, one is concerned about who leads our people of America, and the other just want their policies and control implemented by any means possible, with the added agenda of defeating Christianity.
