Outlander’ is on it’s way as I got it thru Netflix yesterday and should arrive tomorrow. Perfect for our Saturday night viewing. ( I had to promise my GF I’d go with her shopping for kitchenware though, sounds fair).
Outlander was a good movie. Thanks for the suggestion LOL. I told my GF that there’s a love story and there was! It wasn’t even insulting about the idea of aliens vs vikings because Jim definitely carried the movie.
I just remembered by coincidence Ron Perlman in Season of the Witch and here he was again as Gunnar. Great saturday night flick.

Caviezel has a great look and is a fine actor. He has not been and will not be forsaken by Hollywood so long as he has a name (he does) a handsome face (he does) a good body (he does) and acting talent (he does).
Hey, that’s awesome. I’ve never even heard of “season of the witch”, besides the song, that looks interesting too.
I dig Perlman. I guess I first saw him in “quest for fire”, where he plays...a caveman. They saved a bunch on prosthetic make-up I bet.

Yeah, I’d say Caviezel is the closest you are going to get classic leading-men nowadays. He sorta reminds me of Peter O’Toole.

I recommend Season of the Witch. Just came out with Nic Cage and Ron Perlman (2010) who played one of the famous Holy Crusaders and by fate, got sucked into the politics of the Church by transporting a “suspect witch” to be exorcised.
Perlman, like in Sons of Anarchy, steals the movie from Cage.
I’ll have to check it out. Lot’s of folks hate nick cage, I don’t mind him that much, plus Perlman!!
