I know it hurts to see her there and not home like she wants. At this time she would have to have round the clock care. She can’t get out of bed on her own. She’s to weak to even sit up on her own. And sometimes she doesn’t make sense. The head injury really messed up her thinking.
Also, here is another thought: She will live with God. Forever in his greatness. She will be so happy living with God for eternity. Just think of all the really cool things that she will know. When I look up to the stars, I know my Grand Parents, family, and my friends are with God and living the ‘good’ life with Jesus.
Thank you!!! My sister and I have gathered up what paper work we can. My mom was pretty prepared. We both have power of attorney and mom has a good will. She wanted everything evenly split, that is if there is anything left. I really don’t know where this is going. But, like you say, I know she knows God and one day I’ll see her again. Things don’t look great for her at this moment but, you never know.
I truly understand the ‘human’ side of things and feeling about death, however, your Mom will be living eternally with God. That is the greatest thing for her. Sure it sucks eggs with you and causes you pain.....I know that and have had that pain in my life with my family.
However, Being with God is the ‘quest’. We all want to be with God.
You watch, a new star will be born on the day (her day). She will be watching over you and yours. When you look upon the night sky, you will see one star that shines strangely in your direction, well, that star is your Mom looking over you and yours. She will be with God. Be strong MsLady. Be strong. God is there for you.
