Whats the total percentage of Catholic priests who have been found guilty of pedophilia? I think you'll find its small.

And I wonder what the percentage of abused by priests is. I doubt it's so small considering the number of cases where priests have molested multiple times because of the protection afforded them by the Catholic church.

It may also be small because of the statute of limitations prevents people from pursuing the crime so the priest gets away with it.

Sarcasm is also not normally considered Christian.

And yes, I do have a sense of humor. I just don’t see what that has to do with your post.

Also, why did you ping so many people but not Mark?

"54% of Roman Catholics voted for Obama"

That lie has been exposed and other posters have explained how the media came up with that false number, but you side with the leftist MSM just the same.

lolol. We've seen when RCs don't like a fact they simply deny that fact.

Here's evidence from that "lying" media outlet "CATHOLIC NEWS SERVICE" ...

"...Nationwide, 54 percent of Catholics supported Obama and 44 percent voted for McCain."

Why do you not deal with the topic of this thread, but instead pick at how people post?

I realize RC apologists hope to keep everyone on the defensive but that is only because they have no offense.

Unless.... One actually believes that the typewritten word that appears here on this forum can actually leave a physical mark... if so - -well, then, there's more to the problem than a marked lack of humor.

lol. Maybe that's it. They do believe in all manner of apparitions and ghosts.

I believe that we have already had the Presbyterians establish for us that they were not Christian based upon the following points:

Funny, Mark. Beyond attributing things to posters (which your post does), and reading minds... Wow. You actually go as far as reading the mind of God.

And, sadly, the points you list are all wrong! ALL!

Since your post included me, let me ask you this: how do you know I reject the Gospel?

Answer You cannot know it. Because I LOVE the Gospel. I accept it because I AM Christian.

Next... what on earth is Paulianity? Roman Catholics claim to have provided the Bible to the world -- Paul wrote books that are Canon, no? So - -do you reject Paul's teaching, inspired by the Holy Spirit?

Gnosticism? I think not. My salvation is based on Christ's shed blood on the Cross -- On the faith and trust that God has provided for me in His only begotten Son.

Nestorianism? Fail. Nice try though, but fail.

I have not the first issue with the Nicene Creed -- but obviously, you attribute to me this issue since you pinged me.

The only "check" that is being shown here is a "check" written that cannot be cashed -- your points all come back marked "insufficient funds."

HA! Catholic News Service is left-leaning. It’s a tool of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. They love illegal aliens and unions. They don’t represent conservative Catholics.

lolol. I could have won a lot of money betting on your response.

How's this from CATHOLICISM.ORG?

Are they "left-leaning," too, and deserving of your scorn?

Sarcasm has nothing to do with being considered Christian. I would differ with you that my remark was sarcastic. Maybe the attribution of intent/motive to what is said may have caused you to mistakenly assume something?

You have a sense of humor! Wonderful! I don't see what the deflection has to do with the original topic.

Simple oversight. I responded to the post.

It may also be small because of the statute of limitations prevents people from pursuing the crime so the priest gets away with it.

You also have to take into account that Rome has covered their crimes so they could not be prosecuted and then there are the pay offs so the victims stay silent

Just a point of order.

In public schools, the teachers is often given a good recommendation and told to leave town. My wife is a high school teacher, and that happens so often it isn’t even remarked much anymore.

The most recent one was a pregnant band teacher and a cheerleader. That did make the news, only because the husband (who filed for divorce) called the paper.

From an opinion column, where the author states, "I am not sure how this figure was obtained, but it is probably accurate."

And you take that as fact? Yeah, you would.

“I would differ with you that my remark was sarcastic.”

Ok, then it was condescending. Christians should not be condescending when dealing with others.

“You have a sense of humor! Wonderful! I don’t see what the deflection has to do with the original topic.”

You were the one who brought up my sense of humor.
