Seems God says it was the entire earth.
God Bless
That ark has been found. It is in Africa. I read it on WND.
Since the Ancients took Atlantis to the Pegasus Galaxy we will not be finding it anytime soon. Until a ZPM is found to give enough power to the gate to get there.
well except, you know, the fish. They probably had a blast.
I guess that is probably true?
I am leery of attempts to reconcile the laws of science with the power of God. For one thing, while God's Word has remained constant throughout all time, science changes based on how we as humans interpret it or learn more from it.
For example, 500 years ago, our top scientists believed that the world was flat and that the sun revolved around the Earth. Even to this day, there is great disagreement in the scientific community as to how things work in our world.
Secondly, God is not bound by any laws of physics or any other restrictions. From a Christian perspective, He can simply just do it and be done with it. If we have faith in God, then we do not need to go through all the efforts to "prove" that He can do all the things that He says He can do, and did do, or "reconcile" the things that God does with the limitations imposed by science.
The argument Columbus had with the scholars of his day was not over the shape of the Earth, but its size. The scholars of the day were using the figure of Eratosthenes, and were telling Columbus (correctly) that he would never make the distance to India.
Columbus, for reasons of making his journey to India feasible, argued that the figure of Eratosthenes was inaccurate and overly large.
Columbus was wrong, but lucky for him and his crew, there was a big land mass (and some islands) in the way.
;-) Thanks for saving me the keyboarding.

More worried about Destiny these days....
Yea, well Destiny is moving to slow for me. I have about given up. I keep hoping the have killed LDP off but the sucker keeps coming back.
I'm exhibiting no such attitide. I was just giving my opinions on the subject.
I am not trying to portray myself as some sort of expert in the subject... but it just seems counterproductive to me to try to sync up science and faith, and then go on to using that as a basis for accepting the Scriptures as the Truth. I would think that God would want us to accept Scripture as being His inspired Word, and then go from there.
I sincerely apologize if I came across as suggesting your faith or convictions as a Christian are somehow weakened because we do not see eye-to-eye on these types of things.
Sure but that’s an ‘edge’ case. There isn’t a lot of wooden anything from thousands of years ago left. Termites. I said “Noah’s Ark almost undoubtedly rotted away thousands of years ago.” I didn’t say it was impossible that it survived. I find it odd that people would waste so much time and money looking for something with a low probability of surviving.
Some of it probably did. However what ever that was would be unrecognizable as a part of the Ark (and probably charcoal). The Ark was most likely cannibalized immediately by Noah and Company. They didn't have anything else. The Ark was used for shelter and firewood.

I’m not sure the Ark was a “boat” as in that replica. A better design would be more of a half submersible designed to pitch and roll. Round out the bulkhead in that design and it’s probably closer to the original.

Exactly what I thought when I first read this piece.
Noah’s Ark....yes
Nixon’s tapes??? wth?
Ark of the Covenant not even mentioned?
Those 2 (Noah’ ark & ark of the covenant) plus anything from the Roman Empire or anything from ancient shipwrecks would round out my list even though I can’t cite ‘specific’ individual events/discoveries.
It’s all fascinating....(except Nixon’s tapes LOL!)
