What is the difference in how you approach God and how you approach Mary ?
Not exactly. It's been asked time without count, but never answered. Looks like it won't be this time either . . .
I do confess that
y’all are Olympic gold medalist experts

You are actually very misinformed and so is most of the church. THat is because the church has lost its way and lost the power of the holy spirit. If you would like that strength again, like you had as a child..go to fhu.com where the Be Still exercise will put you on the path to true freedom from sin. What you have done, unwittingly . is neutered the power of Jesus. Once the bad spirit is cleansed, and it takes some time often, then there simply is no more will to sin because it was ITS will to sin the whole time!
a. Whoever abides in Him does not sin: Since sin is lawlessness, a disregard for God (1 John 3:4), and since Jesus came to take away our sins (1 John 3:5), and since in Jesus there is no sin (1 John 3:5), then to abide in Him means to not sin.
“In fact the OPC is the worst kind, like Mormons or Jehovah’s Witnesses who pretend to be Christian while practising their cultic messages.”
I know both Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses, so inform about me the “cultic message practices”
I don’t recall observing y’all trying to mimic speaking in tongues before!
I, on the other hand, did ask that 2414 be removed. and I thank the Mods for so doing. FR isn’t a outhouse wall and most of us don’t want to be used as one. So when sludge like WW put up comes along I will hit the abuse button and happily so.
Because their only defense is an exercise in the calculus of relativism. They still use the Catholic Church as the yardstick against which they measure their own flawed institutions. When unable to demonstrate and articulate their own primacy or virtue they resort to diminishing the standard against which they measure themselves.
Had Mary said "No," would we not have salvation? God chose Mary because he knew she would br obedient. If there was no Mary, God would still have some obedient girl to carry His earthly incarnation. God doesn't need us; but God chose us.
Luke 19:37-40
When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, Teacher, rebuke your disciples!
I tell you, he replied, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.
Is the power of the Architect of Creation and the Author of life chained by the whim of a young maiden? He chose her because she would be obedient. If she was not so inclined, He would have chosen another.
Are you sure you're not talking about Islam?
If you go to Italy, I've heard non Catholics can tour the Vatican. I've never been there, but I bet you can buy a T-Shirt.
If you are not a Moslem and you visit Saudi Arabia, and you try to see Mecca, you'll get your head cut off. They won't even give you a T-Shirt for your trouble.
I’m just the idea man.
I’d have to ask the scientists in charge of that dept.
I hate grits.
I wouldn’t really want to go there.
LOL.
Muslims do it because the believe in life everlasting as the reward. How much sadder then is it to watch Calvinists blowing up their souls and forfeiting life everlasting in these threads because they believe the lie of Calvin?
