Spot on.
Excellent column.
Prayers for her success on Tuesday.
Your sanctimonious, insincere prayers she can do without. Tell me, genius, exactly how her "lack of any type of a background" would adversely prevent her from being effective as a US senator.
You just love to present yourself as some type of political solon. You'd be better off spending more time with the neighboring Amish. Then you might, though I wouldn't bet on it, learn something of being humble, rather than abjectly insecure, which you obviously are.

“I will pray for Ms. ODonnell (and I am Catholic), though not necessarily to win her election bid”.
...having a soul, character and honesty are enough for me. What, pray tell, would her background have to do with “qualifying” her for the US Senate? So she knows how to play the game? We need somebody “connected”? You’re going to pray for O’Donnell to do what? Lose to a Marxist?
Our founding fathers didn’t have what I would suspect you call “background” when they went to Congress for the first time. They had courage, love of country, a hunger for freedom and faith in God ...... look what they accomplished. Christine has the same ‘background’ - if she is elected, she’ll be a force to reckon with, thus the rabid hatred and attempts to politically and personally assassinate her. God bless Christine and may His will be done.
Wow she’s cute...:)
Hopefully, someone will pray for all the Catholics in New England that elected Kennedy, Frank, Obama, and many others to political office...as for O’Donnell? She’s pro-life, last time I checked.
Thanks for sharing that with me.
A leader with “experience” but without soul, character, and honesty is dangerous, and is basically what we have in DC now. I have a high degree of confidence in anyone who is principled and has integrity. I fear anyone who doesn't, regardless of their experience.
In the quest for the perfect candidate all are lacking. I guess it comes down to which characteristics you can live with. Lindsey Graham has experience. John McCain has experience. So does Harry Reid for that matter. That hasn't worked so well.
Our founding fathers didnt have what I would suspect you call background when they went to Congress for the first time.
That is interesting to know.
Watching Maher' reruns, with Christine taking them to task, shows me that she's one extraordinary Republican lady. She was playing their game and won. She couldn't be beaten down.
Non were female back in day either............ just saying.
