The neat thing is no matter where we are when it hits the fan, Jesus Christ our Lord is with us. We can trust Him.
Wags, you just need to learn that the rules do not apply equally to her.
There’s a reference of a nation represented by an eagle which raises vocal objection to what is happening against Israel, but I don’t recall where that is. I’ll try to find it.
It may take some time.
My sense is the USA is taken out of the picture very soon.
Growing up it seemed impossible to me that the USA wouldn't be in charge of everything. Now in a couple generations we've got abortions going on all over with our tax dollars. We have sexual deviants being declared to be normal, healthy, happy adults. We have fewer people going to church on a regular basis. We have fewer marriages and more children born outside of marriage. IOW, we are disappearing as a force for good in the world and falling into a cesspool.
Agreed
The neat thing is Our Lord Jesus Christ is bigger than our beloved USA.
AMEN!!!!!!
I don't know how to do the colored fonts, but if I did boy would this be the post to do it.
You know it!
God, Family, Country in that order. Let's keep it that way!
In the end all we will have left for our security is our faith in Christ. This is as it should be.
I can’t recall the verse that I was thinking of, however, there is this verse, which MAY indicate involvement of the US.
Revelation 12:14
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.
Otherwise, it is conspicuously absent from Bible prophecy and that in itself may be an indicator that the US is not a major player in the end times events, which primarily surround the Middle East.
Another neat thing is we can trust Our Lord Jesus Christ to take care of our Family too!
There are believers and unbelievers in all churches.
And I seriously think there are going to be many surprises when the time comes.
Considering the path the current administration is taking us, I can’t disagree with that at all.
Much as we dislike what we see and for all the finger pointing and blame being spread around over who put him in office, if that needed to happen for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled, it was going to happen, one way or another.
We wish, of course, not to see such times, but the times we’re living in is not our choice.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Maybe, But, the trend seems to be that in the end the only country not part of the world system is Israel. This interpretation would include the USA as a separate nation also at this time of the tribulation.
For now, as we wait, we should live in the day the Lord has given us. Don’t worry about tomorrow. I am not a big one for stocking rice, beans and such but I will not ridicule those that do. Maybe God called them to do it. I like to live in the now and trust God to handle the future. I think he is up to the task.
The 15 forged letters of Ignatius:
"... Of later collections of Ignatian letters which have been preserved, the oldest is known as the "long recension". This collection, the author of which is unknown, dates from the latter part of the fourth century. It contains the seven genuine and six spurious letters, but even the genuine epistles were greatly interpolated to lend weight to the personal views of its author. For this reason they are incapable of bearing witness to the original form. The spurious letters in this recension are those that purport to be from Ignatius."
Shocking! You actually found an anti-Catholic website that contends that the Epistle of Ignatius to the Smyrnaeans is a forgery and their essential reason for this is that it sounds to Catholic.
I think this is the case. We are at the backwaters of prophetic events.
Revelation 12:14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpents reach.
Interesting thought. The woman is Israel, but I don't think the wings are the USA because Israel goes to a place in the desert. I've always thought this was in close proximity to the land of Israel.
