What brand is that ? Walmarts? Crazy me want to tell her crazy friend about it!
When my eyes started closing down involuntarily, I went to the optometrist who said my eyes were perfect, nothing wrong. Then to family doctor who said it must be nerves, then to an Opthamologist who insisted that it was only a habit, then to a Neurologist who vowed it was all in my head.
Three years later and umpteen different non-diagnosis, the Univ. of Va. Eye Center found that I had Benign Essential Blepharospasm, a rare affliction that has no cure which involves Neuro-synapes in the area of the 5th-7th Cranial Nerves. It has taken an operation to remove the eyelid muscles, and the use of BOTOX shots around my eyes to keep me functioning. It's not perfect, but I manage, and thank the Lord that he has allowed me to be of service even in my affliction. It was harder when I didn't know what I was facing, especially when doctors insisted that I was mental. Which may be true, but that wasn't the problem with my eyes. LOL
You don’t know what type of nose spray contains the ingredient that produced a reaction in rats that not only lowered inflamation, sugar and weight do you?
Read about it and tried it last year, had intended to be off for awhile and then try it again...and can’t find the empty.
WOW a medical reason for BOTOX....Is it catching? ;~)
How are you doing now?
The thing is there are KNOWN AREAS for Tropical Sprew. if you have the problem and go to such an area you develop it. They haven't identified the environmental trigger though.
It's called "Tropical" for a good reason!
What’d they say?
However, flavor enhancers, MSG, hydrolyzed protein, etc. may be mixed into a wheat flour base ~
You want to avoid a substance called "Modified Food Starch". You do not need to avoid "Modified Corn Starch".
My whole family is trained in this stuff as I said.
There are things I can't do, like watch TV. Something about the constant movement. I am surely thankful that I can work at the computer, and I can read or sew; anything that gives me a single focus. It's hard for me to do two things at once, like talking and keeping my eyes open at the same time. I can drive, but I must be alone, so I can stay focused. It's a strange affliction. I wouldn't call it a disease. It is not physically life-threatening, just aggravating. I have never stopped trying to find the cause, and there is a research foundation in Beaumont, TX that funds research on BEB.
Prayers for you! You might take a look at the Tahoma Clinic Webpage http://www.tahomaclinic.com/
(my doctor is Dr. Wright who runs it and is world renowned and I’d trust my life to him, except he doesn’t do surgery!).....and give them a call...they can solve LOTS of problems.
I hear you.
That is so true.
It’s not mental when an infant displays symptoms.
Or when you’ve been happily eating something that you know you’re not allergic to, and then you start displaying symptoms to it. That’s what’s been driving me nuts. I’m eliminating all kids of things trying to find the offending substance, only to find that it’s been what I was eating that I thought was safe.
Do you know what state Metmom lives in?....I do have a MD/Naturapath (mine) who probably could help her solve her problem....but he’s in Washington State.
except he doesnt do surgery!).....Meaning?
You don't have to worry about a schedule ~ the food will tell you all you need to know.
Meaning....he’s a Naturapath/MD who only handles mostly problem patients at their wits end....he also is the doc who created/developed compounded bio-identical hormones 30 years ago...and does research...I know he has dealt a lot with people who have allergies and stomach problems too....but, if I had a need for a doc to fix a broken bone, or cut into me for some reason or other, he does not do that. I guess I’m saying he’s a Specialist....and a VERY GOOD ONE!
Hmm, dropped my bottle but it’s in that big display of all kind of vitamins and stuff arranged alphabetically. It’s in the Vitamin B section. Remember, SUBLINGUAL, not the other stuff. (bark bark bark, howl howl, Bwahahahahah!!!!!! Find a new bottle).
No. In general I avoid stuff that makes rats do stuff.
No answer yet but I expect a human sacrifice will be delivered to my front step shortly ~ maybe a VP “marketing” or something.
Forgot you were in Washington...Too far. What I really would like is a live person who would help me past step one of the Glycemic Index. Second would be the control of yeast in the intestines.
Prayers sent.
Problems can arise when we get the wrong yeast, or the wrong yeast gets us.
One neat thing is to get involved in one of those deals where they wire you up in the NIH ICU section of your local hospital and they fire 50 different kinds of antibiotics into your system for a week or so.
Oh, your hospital doesn't have such a unit? We do. The nurses wear environmental suits.
This area has such heavy traffic in foreign travelers they need it just to take care of the DOD and State Department folks. The rest of us can go there too when we acquire something really horrid .
BTW, this is NON ELECTIVE. You can't just sign up for it. They'll take you there when "they" decide it's time.
There are surprise cures arise out of the treatment ~ and other than the splotches that last for a couple of years (which are easily covered with pancake makeup) the results are almost invariably good ~ if you live.
This is one known treatment for Lupus Eurythematosis that sometimes WORKS. They've cured Tourette's Syndrome this way too (with some).
And no, I've never been wired up in that unit but I know someone who has. Thoughts of it bring back those memes from several years back: "Drop us up the bomb", "Make your time" ~ all very meaningful in this case.
