***LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - “The proposed burning of Qurans would be profoundly offensive to Muslims worldwide, just as Christians would be insulted by the burning of Bibles,” the NAE said in a statement. ***
I have read that people landing in Saudi Arabia are searched and all bibles found are run through a shredder.
And your comment on stealing the kabba was genius. How better to deal with Muslim sins than to sew them up in the skin of a pig?
This church had to go down to the store and purchase these Korans in order to burn them. You can't go to the Bible store in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan (our supposed alllies) and purchase a Bible to burn.
So while I don't particularly like the idea of the Church buying the Korans, I certainly cannot think of a better use for them than to use them as fuel for a bonfire.
I’m afraid that rmh47 gets credit for that idea. See #15
