I care. If you call a turnip a rose will it smell like a rose? A lie is a lie no matter who says otherwise. I don’t want any cult baptizing me. They don’t have the right.
How about our culture?
“Courtesy ping”? Right. Courtesy is the last thing on your minds. The fact that all the usual suspects have hopped on this thread to join in the insults just proves my point.
The Mormon baiting that goes on here is disgusting. The fact that you are allowed to continue it is the reason I no longer donate here. You people personify all the worst stereotypes about conservatism. Although the fact that you constantly seek to alienate and offend a group of people who are reliably conservative sometimes makes me wonder if you are really trolls, seeking to divide conservatives.
Must be Adam Smith and Eve Jones both born Eden, Tennessee and passed away just on the outside of Garden City, New York by LDS genealogy standards.
Or you don't want to be offended by what truth is revealed about lds, when you claim they are lies, then tell us what is truth in your mind, rather than insults to the posters and innuendo.
That is utterly perverted!
As a member of a reliably conservative group and a poster on the worlds largest Conservative Internet Forum, you no longer donate because peoples are taking the very Conservative act of practicing their first amendment rights.
Got it.
Explains why the “reliable Conservative” LDSers here were pushing the “reliably Conservative” socialist Romney.
I guess like all things LDS it is how you feel that set definitions, facts need not apply.
(BTW I do not expect and answer, just like i did not expect one about the “threshold’ question I asked earlier up thread.)
It is beyond perverted and yet it is only a sampling of what lds teaches.
It really isn’t just about how you feel. It is about how you feel at any given moment because if you feel different some other time that is what counts not what you felt before.
Of course.
Motorized goal post...
I pretty much stopped trying to figure out the thought processes of religious folks outside my own personal experience. If I can’t talk to someone directly, I tend to assume an inane disconnect in the thought process of anyone who makes religious claims that I can’t actually reconcile myself.
So far my S.O.P. is working well.
Things like the bizarre developments discussed on this thread are outside my usual “doing the best they can, the rest is between them and God” stance. Some stuff just makes me worry about those involved.
Mind you, it’s not their concept of Christ being married that bothers me. It’s their concept of baptizing Him into a faith that deviates sufficiently so as to no longer be Christian, then subsequently enforcing the standards of that faith onto Him. It’s the WHOLE picture, rather than one or two facets.
I have zero interest in what you think. Truth is still truth, lies are still lies. Satan is and always has been the master of lies and deception.
Um, just a little curiosity here, but if you have zero interest in what svcw thinks why did you ask them “How about our culture?” in the prior post...
Looks like someone finally went off the deep end!
Then why did you ask me? What a strange response.
;)
ROTFL!!! I am definitely stealing that one!
We have different ideas of “strange”.
That would translate as freeloading...are you boasting about it?
Freeloader | ||
A freeloader is a person that takes advantage of a provider that offers help in a time of need.
The provider may, or may not figure out that the "time of need" never ends with a freeloader. Freeloaders like to repay debts with unasked for actions / items presented as a compensation. Providers have codependent behavioral issues that allow the freeloader to exist in their world. Freeloaders consistently repeat their user patterns with anyone known to the original provider. |
