I continuously wonder why those such as he, who have never contributed anything positive, and have made much trouble, are allowed to remain here mocking everything we stand for.
Wouldn't one have to go back through all verity's posts to 1998 to see if he's "never contributed anything positive"? ... LOL ...
And don't ask me, because I'm not going back to 1998 to find out... :-)

Isn't "nagging" and accusations directed at the Religion Moderator as bad as what verity was doing, except verity just said "go to hell" and got it over with in one post? It seems that the "drip, drip, drip" of some posts (sequentially) are just as bad as one "go-to-hell post" ... LOL ...

They are not any more charmed than you are... or anyone else. It's just that we accommodate all sorts of conservatives (and some variations within that) and they're not all going to agree with you or with me or with others.
And what kind of board would this be if we all agreed anyway. If everyone agreed with me, I wouldn't need to come on here to see what others said -- I would already know (since they all agreed with me, doncha know) and we could all stay offline... :-)
[ ... and by the way, I've already seen, elsewhere, where I definitely don't agree with verity on some things he's posted, but I don't think he should be knocked off Free Republic; maybe this thread, but that's good enough...]

Good grief... that's the least of our troubles -- and around here... in Oklahoma, "hell" is a respected word... and if someone doesn't like what you said, they're liable to say "go to hell" -- and we Okies just take it as a sign of disagreement, that's all... LOL ...

I’ve seen people with more recent sign up dates zotted for much the same kind of post to the wrong person.
And it’s not just this thread and you don’t have to go very far back in posting history to find trollish behavior. A week or two will do.
Disagreeable is one thing.
Advocating liberal pro-death positions is another. Mocking other’s religious beliefs is another. Telling the mods to go to hell is another.
That is beyond *disagreeable*.

Well, if it's any forum that I will tell people they will "go to hell" -- it is most likely on the Religion Forum that I will say that... doncha know -- especially if they have not accepted Jesus, the Messiah of Israel as their personal savior.
That's precisely the instance where they will definitely go to hell... and I think they should know it.
But, I know verity wasn't talking about that... :-)
I think that those who wake up on the wrong side of the bed and go looking for trouble should stay off of a religious thread that is discussing prayer. It’s rude, doltish behavior and his GTH comment should be stricken.
