This Religion Forum thread is labeled “Catholic Caucus” - if you are not Catholic, do not post on this thread.

"Any fair-minded person, Christian or otherwise, knows this is not unique to the Catholic church, nor to all of its clergy." Of course that is correct, but where are the numbers that show "celibates" are less likely to abuse children than married people? I have a hard time believing it. Sex, within marriage, is a good thing, and is not sin. St. Paul called the marriage bed "honorable" and described sex within marriage as a preservative of good morals.

"This Religion Forum thread is labeled Catholic Caucus - if you are not Catholic, do not post on this thread." My apologies, I did not see this until I had posted. I'm not Catholic, but I respect my Catholic friends.

I was born and raised as a Catholic, and according to the Catholics on the forum, I will always be regardless of my personal choices as an adult. Besides, my post was about the predicted hate-monger labels towards anyone not in agreement that Natural Law tossed out at post #3. That seemed “antagonistic” to me. Sorry. Thank you for deleting it, too.

Regardless of the Catholic Church teaching on the matter, if you do not at this time consider yourself to be Catholic, then do not post on "Catholic Caucus" threads.
A Religion Forum caucus is to be treated as if it is occuring behind the closed doors of a church.
