I doubt he ever had Him, one does not lose Christ and he does not lose His...
There are many seeds that fall on the ground and sprout quickly then die because the shallow ground.. they never really had roots
He was a youth pastor, a pastor, and founded a church.
If he "never had Christ" then Protestantism raises people to the pastorate who never had Christ. Maybe you should try fixing those problems before you attack those on the outside.
Of course, what I meant is that He lost Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, by leaving the Catholic Church.
Is a reason necessary for cheek turning?
Doesn’t interpreting it His way, require interpretation as to which, is His way?
Unfortunately they do, I could actually list many ...but Roman Catholics can not condemn Protestants for that , they need to look at their own ranks.. Take out your bolder before looking at our splinter
Which is more real the physical or the spiritual ?
I'm not condemning Protestants. I think many Protestants are fine Christians.
You seem to be saying that no Catholics are Christians, except those who "find Christ," leave, and become ex-Catholics. Then you go on to demonstrate, and even admit, that at least some Protestant pastors aren't Christians, either.
So the bolder [sic] is in your eye, not mine.
That's not a question that should ever even make sense to a Christian, because we believe in the Incarnation, which was a real, physical event, and the Cross, which was also a real, physical event. Divorcing the physical from the spiritual is the error of Platonism.
Have you seen the temple of Joel?
“More real” is as logical as asking “who’s more pregnant: a mother with second trimester twins or one with a third trimester baby?” It’s nonsensical wording - something is real or not, and can’t be a given degree of real.
Catholics do not bother with non-Catholics, as a rule, until the non-Catholics decide it’s their calling to get in our faces. For our own good, of course.
If protestants would just deal with their own faults, and proselytize only the unchurched, there would be less conflict. I don’t know any Catholics who go out of their way to preach protestant error. I’ve never, in 30 years, heard a sermon on it.
These stupid anti-Catholic threads just beg for an in-kind response.
I have no idea what that means.
Those things are profoundly biblical. The Mass is the essence of the Book of Revelation. The veneration of Mary is a bit more subtle but it's definitely there.
Have you read Aquinas? You might check out his short version of the Summa. He referenced every sentence he wrote to a verse or two from Scripture, including the doctrines you find most problematic.
Actually, the thread should remain as a testament to the savage anti-Catholic bigotry that is rampant here.
It is filled with such stupid historical inaccuracies that don't even have anything to do with religious doctrine that it is certainly on par with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion or similar hate works.
The detestable lies that do touch on religious doctrine are also evidence of certain anti-Catholic hatred. Only a morally and spiritually-diseased soul would write this. As to what sort would post it, well...
The original poster should be banned permanently.
Failure to do so is evidence that FR condones anti-Catholic hatred.

The author of this garbage relied heavily on a book by Charles Chiniquy (a prominent 19th century anti-Catholic bigot) and Chiniquy was a major inspiration for a well-known anti-Catholic comic book publisher.
Which can be proven, without doubt or a need for a leap of faith, to the most people?
Imagine that!
Holding on to Simon Peter's body, the very appointed successor to Christ, buried deep below St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
Truth be told, one does not have an inkling of a personal, growing, and fruitful personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ without having first experienced the Holy Eucharist on one's tongue and the grace that follows from that incredible Paschal Meal provided by our Lord and Savior. ;-)
Jesus was a Jew and the first convert to the Catholic Church; the Church Christ built. The "denominations" and other cults sprang forth 1500+ years later.
Beware of false prophets.
