Here is an article that I found rather interesting. In the scriptures it states the following:
Gen 4:14-17 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
And again...
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
The questions in these passages is 1) where did these other people come from for Cain to marry, and 2) what is meant by the sons of God versus the women of men? Could these be the Neanderthals-another race of creatures but not on the same level and God-breathed beings?

When I was in college, the Neanderthal chicks were so easy to score with.
I never left the Phi Sigma Sigma house without a chick, as long as I brought along raw mutton.

I have always had a pet theory that down syndrome is actually Neanderthal DNA trying to assert itself, this is why they almost all look alike.
Just a theory, don't hate on me.

Did Neanderthals Have Sex with Modern Humans?
- Newsies are obsessed with sex.
- Scientificists keep changing their minds as to whether interbreeding was possible between neandertals and h. sapiens.

I am not convinced that those Neanderthal genes are extinct at all. Over the years as I went to work, from time to time I would observe some men—oddly enough, it was never women—on the subway who had a distinct resemblance to the drawings of cavemen that I have seen. Sometimes I would see one who complemented the facial looks with mass amounts of dark hair emanating from his shirt cuffs.
No, they still walk among us.

It is understood by many exegetes that the sons of God were the lineage of Seth, and the daughter of men were from the lineage of Cain. The descendants of Adam and Eve married their siblings. The Neanderthal DNA was too different from Cro-Magnon DNA for them to have produced viable offspring.

I think I might have dated a few during my single days!
