“Its not bad here if you just stay out of the religion forum. I more or less gave up on that a few years back.”
That is where I am at, too. I’ve been here about 10 years now, and I am not going anywhere.

Are you referring to the Sages who were in Noahs boat ~ the one that was saved from being dashed against the rocks of Mount Ararat by the Great Fish?A hypocrite I can abide. And obnoxious hypocrite I cannot.
While FR isn't anti-Catholic, there will always be plenty of anti-Catholics on it thanks to people like you. Congratulations.

Your lack of knowledge of pre-Flood theological truths is remarkable.
Did you know there are just about as many people in this world who know of the Great Fish as those who know of Jesus.
Nothing hypocritical about that.
BTW, only Liberals and Moslems worry about hypocrisy ~ and they call for the death (literal or financial/political) of hypocrites.
I'd recommend you not get so excited about it and instead tend to the pursuit of your own perfection.

At any rate, my apologies to the Catholics on this forum. Apparently muawiyah isn't one of you (though he certainly sounded like one in a couple of posts above) but rather a secular "golden bough"-type who enjoys spitting on the most cherished beliefs of all people equally, probably because he has no reason or purpose in his own life.

Good grief. The world must be tough for you. There may be one or two people who have said really negative things (although I haven’t seen it), but there is definitely not any negative bias toward Catholics from the vast majority of participants on this site.
You need to develop a thicker skin.

And you would be wrong. Time to broaden your knowledge base.

I'm not even Catholic, but I have to agree with you. There does seem to be more than a little bit of Catholic-bashing going on. You'd think the Catholic-haters would burn themselves out, but they seem to have and endless supply of anti-Catholic vitriol petrol to dump on the flames. I try to ignore the religious intolerance and concentrate on what makes this site great--the political discourse--but that's probably a lot harder for you to do since it's your faith that gets dumped on.
Take care, God bless, and merry Christmas.
