I don’t agree with that statement.

That would mean that in another, parallel universe, Jesus gave in to the temptation and said “okay” to Satan and accepted his offer of the world.

And in yet another universe Jesus was never betrayed by Judas, never crucified, and retired after 30 years of carpentry...

I believe there is one reality, that created by God, and no other realities, in parallel universes or dimensions, as that would make God out to be a liar.
