So, YOU believe he is a prophet, but not a god? Thanks for clarifying that.
Nowhere does he indicate that he "received" these words. He indicates that he is the author of this convoluted rant, so these words indicate that he believes himself to be a deity:
Therefore now I shall work my outstretched arm over the nations to perform this " My Will ", for The Father has said "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased !" .
I'm sorry if you think it's too much to hold a prophet/deity accountable to basic English grammar, but I don't.
Worse than manson? cheez. He’s not claiming to be a deity, he’s a messenger. Hope you’re listening.
You are exceedingly wrong.
No only remembered . . .
but experienced as though you were the person perceiving and feeling the effects of every input you offered.
As will we all.
That’s showing ignorance of a subculture.
It’s UNDERSTOOD in that subculture.
Cluelessness is so much fun! LOL.
God uses us just the way we are. I don’t know Jedediah’s background or his education. I don’t think God is as concerned with those things as we so called smart folks do. If Jedediah is obedient and does what God asks, that’s enough.
Evidently a few years at the PECOS NM ROMAN CATHOLIC RETREAT CENTER
would benefit a lot of RC’s hereon.
WRONG! He is writing this in the first person. If he were to start his rants by saying, "God said to me," then he could claim to be a prophet/messanger. I really don't think that an ACTUAL PROPHET OF GOD would be so handicapped by the English language.
When a poster knows someone doesn’t like to be called by a certain name, it is a hostile act to do that. No one here is a “pet” of anyone. That could be taken as personal, and rude.
Manson was understood in his subculture, Jim Jones was in his, as was Muhammad in his.
Since the Canon of Scripture was completed there have been many self-proclaimed prophets who have been "understood" by a subculture and the ultimate fates of these subcultures have ranged from insignificant to horrifically catastrophic.
GROSSLY UNFITTING, OFF THE WALL ASSUMPTIONS ARE SHOWING AGAIN!
LOL.
I’m sure you’re sooooooooooooooooooo
thrilled . . . . when a Hindu happens on the scene and
begins to tell you everything about your idolatrous worship of Mary as though the Hindu knows everything about that A to Z.
Actually, probably the Hindu WOULD know more about that than you seem to know about
prophetic gifting amongst Pentecostals and Charismatics . . . including Charismatic Roman Catholics, BTW.
Fascinating.
“I see encouragement to the body, to follow Christ closely, especially now...I am encouraged by Jedediah. That cant be so bad, can it?”
I was part of a Baptist Church in college, when a man came claiming to be a prophet of God. When my roommates and I talked to him, he seemed pretty vague. After a couple months of division, he gave a prophecy that the pastor’s wife would give birth to a baby girl. A month later, a baby boy was born.
He was told to leave the church, and his description was passed to others in the area. However, several members left the church to follow him, even though his prophecy had been proven false.
The scriptures ARE sufficient - not just as a rule of faith for the church, but for our lives. The only men I’ve met in person who claimed to be prophets were liars, so I tend to be skeptical. At a minimum, it seems scriptural to ask what does his ‘prophesy’ mean, and why should I listen to it?
There are many false prophets, and it is a serious thing to claim to speak the words of God Himself. We are told to judge, and to be careful not to be led astray.
give me a break.
As horribly catastrophic as the worship of Mary has been in many contexts.
Interesting the examples one jumps to.
LOL.
Let’s face it, you don’t KNOW that to be true.
Because?
Jedediah has given me personal encouragement that was right on, in FReepmail. I’m not as willing as you are to discount his gift.
This is no different:
Satan (Allah) uses us just the way we are. I dont know Muhammeds background or his education. I dont think Satan (Allah) is as concerned with those things as we so called smart folks do. If Muhammed is obedient and does what Satan (Allah) asks, thats enough.
I don’t have a problem with his misspellings. Many people can’t spell. I don’t know his background or his education, not do any of us. I won’t judge him on that.
Who has died for honoring the Blessed Mother as we are commanded to in Scripture?
