Oh dear... I will keep you in my prayers at Mass this morning.
Made a good confession yesterday. Our new priest, Father George, challenges us to live the life God wants us to live. He's a great addition to our parish.
This priest, Father Hoffman, reminds us how we honor the mother of Christ like we honor our own mothers. We don't insult the mothers of our friends. It would displease them. We speak well of them because they arethe mothers of our friends. The same I suppose holds true with our Blessed Mother.
It must please our dear Lord to no end to honor his mother. The church is very clear that we still adore God and Christ; but we continue to venerate Mary.
Make sense?
Blessings to you.
I was wishing I’d been to Confession as the SUV came barrelling at me in my lane. Nothing is broken, at least, and the kids had no injuries at all.
Did you mean to spell that with only one 'o'?"
I essayed a euphemism, being as how it’s the Religion Forum.
Of course my interest was confined to the subject of orthographical variations among different linguistic groups within the US.
Of course.
