I understand ,look up hurricanes and weather where isaid there would be a hurricane on the west coast and within a few weeks there was which is rare ,though these words are to draw people to wait on the Lord and inquire of his will each day, to stay in his presence, to know wHat his will is for the body yet as a postman I deliver what I receive as I am told for the unity and awareness and the self righteous can not conceive or digest it because the flesh can not enter into things of the spirit

I’m sorry, but due to a number of factors your post makes absolutely no sense.

Do you believe you are a prophet of God? YES or NO. I do not require any explanation, you either believe you are a prophet or you do not.

What do the Canary Island have to do with the Pacific Ocean?

There is an interesting theory about a sector of the undersea Canary Isle which could cause a tsunami of more than Biblical sized waves should it drop off the face of the rock wall during an earthquake.

Tsunami formation in any ocean can lead to disasters. Quakes can occur over a large part of the world, so sea shore life carries some risks beyond weather.

Actually, I didn't. Based on your previous posts it's entirely possible that you believe the Canary Islands are in the Pacific Ocean.

Are you going to answer my question from 103?

Why is it so difficult to answer a yes or no question? Do you believe you are a prophet of God? YES or NO.

Thanks, but you didn't respond to the whole of my comment.

If a member of this forum claims personal authority (as I outline in #50):

Has he, or has he not "made it personal"?

Is challenging the legitimacy of said claim to authority a form of "making it personal"?

Ok, let's try it again.

Some Freepers are published writers and post their articles. Some Freepers write vanities. Some Freepers post articles claiming that they are speaking for God. Some Freepers write articles all about themselves (particularly as an opus or mea culpa.)

In all of these cases, if the article is posted on the Religion Forum then the guidelines here apply to it.

Arguably, in each case, the Freeper made himself a "target." And when the article is "about" himself (e.g. an opus) - he "made it personal" from the get-go.

In order to keep the thread from being locked or pulled for "childish behavior" on the RF it falls to all the RF posters to discuss the issues without going down that road, even when he opened the gates himself.

In the case at hand, an RF poster might reply that author's claim to be a prophet is false because ... or that the author's prophecy is false because ...

What he must not do is "make it personal" by saying such things as "you're a liar" "have you taken your meds?" "you're only saying this because..." and so on.

The source of this content is a blog at joshuachronicles.blogspot.com and titled “The Joshua Chronicles,” but the source identified by the poster at the top of the thread is listed as “Bible and The Comforter.”

Regardless who “The Comforter” is or might be claimed to be, the source of this content is misidentified. Further, if “The Comforter” is intended to mean God, I must object, since the work is authored by Jeff Kingshott, who by all indications is NOT a deity and is in fact just as mortal as the rest of us.

I’m glad to see at least one other person on FR who hasn’t swallowed the “Rapture” nonsense!

There are many of us.

He has used asses before.

Surely you're not implying that He is doing so again!

Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room,
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day’s useless energy spent.

Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none,
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.

Cold-hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight,
Red is gray and yellow white,
But we decide which is right,
And which is an illusion?

I "borrowed" a good one from somebody a couple of Jedediah threads back: "Are you just eating instant coffee right from the jar now?"

I'm pretty proud of that one.

:O)

And don’t forget:

Eagle’s calling
And he’s calling your name
Tides are turning
Bringing winds of change
Why do I feel this way
The promise of a new day

The promise
The promise of a new day
As thru time
The earth moves
Under my feet
One step closer
To make love complete
What has the final say
The promise of a new day

And so time over time
What will change the world
No one knows
So the only promise
Is a day to live, to give
And share with one another
See the wisdom from mistakes in our past
Hear the younger gerneration ask
Why do I feel this way
The promise of a new day

And so time over time
What will change the world
No one knows
So the only promise
Is a day to live, to give
And share with one another
