Where were the churches and what were they called, I have no knowledge of a christian church other than the Catholic Church that was founded by Christ.

There were seven churches listed. Each one had a fault and a good part to them. There were probably even more house churches in individual homes or towns. The churches listed in Revelation 1 are: The church at Ephesus, Smyrna, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Pergamum and Laodicea.

I think I already pointed that out to you that Peter was the first Pope of the Catholic Church.

You are saying that the Holy Roman Catholic Church is not of Christ or the one that Jesus Christ established. On what authority or fact is this based on?

Where in the Bible does it say that Christ founded the holy Catholic church? He founded the universal church, the catholic with a small c church. It’s not the same. I know you believe Peter was the first Pope. I do not. We are never going to agree, Irish. Jesus founded the BODY of CHRIST, of which every believer in Jesus Christ is a part. It was not a denomination, it was a universal body of believers.

Jesus was a Jew. A descendant of Jewish King David. He had a Jewish mother who had Jewish parents. He conformed to the requirements of Mosaic Law from the time of His circumcision until the Pasch, the night before His crucifixion. The existing Church of God during Christ's days on earth was the Jewish Church.

Yes, I’m sure there were many synogogues, but there were many churches started by Christians. I sent you seven of them in Asia alone.

Matthew 16:18...”And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not previal against it.” The ROCK is Peter, not his faith or Jesus Christ.
Matthew 16:19...”whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatsover thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.” Also John 1:42, Peter’s new name is the Rock. Peter is regarded by Jesus as the Chief Shepherd after himself...John 21:15-17. Peter is regarded by the Jews as the leader and spokesman for Christianity. Acts 4:1-13, by the common people Acts 2:37-41, 5:15. Peter the first apostle sets out for and enters the empty tomb Luke 24:12, John 20-6. Peter is specified by an angel as the leader and respresentative of the apostles (Mark 16:7. Peter leads the apostles in fishing John 21:2-3,11.
Peter alone casts himself into the sea to come to Jesus (John 21:7). Peter’s words are the first recorded and most important in the Upper Room Acts 1:15-22. Peter takes the lead in calling for a replacement for Judas Acts 1:22. Peter is the first person to speak and only one recorded after Pentecost Acts 2:14-36. Peter works the first miracle Acts 3:6-12. Peter’s shadow works miracles Acts 5:15. Peter is the first person after Christ to raise the dead Acts 9:40. Cornelius is told by an angel to seek out Peter for instruction in Christianity Acts 10:1-6. Peter is the first to receive the Gentiles after a revelation from God Acts 10:9-48. Peter instructs the other apostles on the catholicty of the Church Acts 11:5-17. The whole Church prays for Peter without ceasing when he is imprisioned Acts 12:5. Peter presides over and opens the first council of Christianity and lays down principles Acts 15:7-11.
