The feminizing of the churches has been a problem for both Catholics and Protestants. Protestants have, I will admit, taken the lead in working to appeal to men in recent decades. The article says as much.

What in the world are you talking about??? Do you know???
You don't understand what I'm saying? You must be playing coy. You know better than I that Protestants don't wear or display the cruficix. I think this is a reflection of Protestant theologies that cannot adequately address the problem of suffering -- which is not a problem for Catholicism.

You portray the Son of God as some sort of girly/man...The passage YOU quote is part of the image of Christ as PAGANS would have viewed it, not as the Catholic Church portrays it.
Generally and nonspecifically speaking, folks who hate the Catholic Church will never miss an opportunity to pull a few words out of context, contort it beyond what was meant by the writer, and use it as a rhetorical cudgel to bash the Church founded by Christ.

I didn't write this stuff, your guys did...About you...Uh, no.
Again, the passage you quote is the author's image of how "early pagans" might have viewed the Catholic Church.

That’s very skimpy anecdotal evidence that doesn’t support your statement and you should be smart enough to know that.

Thats very skimpy anecdotal evidence that doesnt support your statement and you should be smart enough to know that.I've seen plenty of Catholic art that depicts Jesus as a wuss...Skinny, blonde haired, blue eyed seems to be a popular fairly modern one...
But hey, I don't care how you guys portray Jesus...I'm just tellin ya you will attract more men if you portray and preach a little more manly type of Jesus...

You continue to display your ignorance.
You have no idea what is preached in all the Catholic parishs around the world.
And I’m not “ya”.

Re-read the rest of the post... You must mean this part:
Do I exaggerate? Perhaps.
Perhaps?
