You have GOT to be kidding. I thought Land had some discernment!

Land needs to retire and shut up. Any married man with children can take care of his family but when he advocates the murder of the unborn and the elderly, theres something totally IMMORAL about that man.

Well, to be fair, the Obamas do not have a messed-up marriage, unlike President and Secretary Clinton. Their politics, of course, are an entirely separate matter.

Did the Baptists praise the Bushs, one and two, for their demonstrated pursuit of exemplar family values, and speak out against he Clintons for their lack thereof??

Is Richard Land really this shallow? Is Land so unstudied as to Obama’s plans for the division and destruction of families in the United States? Obama wants my young people OUT of my home and in HIS civilian service scheme. This is family values? Not hardly.
Land is using what he seees in photo ops of the Obama family (with the almost always pathetically dressed Mrs.) to determine the character of the “president” and to determine that he has family values.
What a misguided leader the SBC has in Land.

Mr. Land has had too many trips to DC. Those trips will do that to you. I really don’t believe Mr. Land has much praise for Obama but this a part of some tactic to get a meeting or dialogue with Obama.
I think it is a bad strategy because this President will go down in history as the most anti-God President in the history of this country. It does us absolutely no good to open a dialogue with this guy when he is doing the policies he is doing.

Putting aside the important issue of abortion, there's another piece to this. Obama pays close attention to his image. Appearing to be A Good Husband And Father is part of this. It's the same as his efforts to never be seen smoking or doing anything else not PC. He must appear to be The Perfect One; it's part of who he believes he is. It's what makes him so dangerous.

The more he talks the more he sounds like a politician.
