There are few atheists on deathbeds.
Too bad his conversion came too late to spare the rest of us his diabolical plot.
Perhaps Jesus can still forgive him at such a point.
I find it difficult. Living one’s life with fantasies of power, promoting all the lies of Communism, seeking to destroy peoples’ freedoms, their livelihoods, and even seeking to destroy the Church. It’s hard to forgive all that.
Postponing one's conversion is not generally a good idea.
Gramsci was the guy that coined the phrase “long march through the institutions” to describe how to implement Communism not by bloody revolution but by gradually rotting out the structures of Western society through means such as “political correctness” and “multiculturalism”. In some ways, Gramsci’s legacy is as evil as Stalin’s and Mao’s.
He literally “Saw the Light”.
“He literally Saw the Light.”
And no guarantee that it was a beautiful white light...maybe shades of orange, red, black etc...
I agree.
I've been betrayed by family and even decades later I cannot forgive. I know it weighs heavy on my heart but I simply cannot take that step especially considering they have never expressed any remorse for their actions.
“Perhaps Jesus can still forgive him at such a point.”
The thief on the cross comes to mind!

Remorse is their problem mate! You can choose to forgive them by saying “I forgive them” whether you feel like it or not or whether you want to or not. It’s a matter of choice and it is better for your heart if you do. Don’t wait to feel good about it- do it in obedience - you don’t need to carry that burden.

I agree. I wish more people were aware of the damage he, Marcuse (Frankfurt School) and their ilk have wrought in our country.
I heard the famous French author and pseudo-intellectual, Jean-Paul Sartre did so as well.
Insurance policies or genuine conversions?
The Marxist cultural revolution that Gramsci launched is still killing people around the world by the hundreds of thousands (think Rwanda and Darfur) and helped to put the zero in power. He helped destroy education in this country by turning academe into an indoctrination camp that has brainwashed tens of millions of voters in this country.
Too bad his grave isn't nearby. I just had a big glass of water.
I completely agree. He spawned the second wave of communism, the undertow beneath the tsunami of the Bolshevik revolution and Stalinism, as I describe it. The undertow has proven and will continue to prove to be the far more destructive.
If Dante were here he’d name a pit after Antonio Gramsci.
Chill-out, we're all going to be six feet under one day!
“Its hard to forgive all that”.
No doubt, for our fallen nature, but Christ is infinite and his mercy with Him, and this man had to cry out for it, or he never would have gotten it.
“I’ve been betrayed by family and even decades later I cannot forgive”.
JUST DO IT!!!
Its hard to forgive all that.
Not to be a party pooper, but look at the plank in your own eye and ask if it’s hard to forgive all that. Believe me, I know my plank in my eye is horribly bigger than I want it to be but I trust that Christ has made the promise that if we trust in His Holy Sacrifice, He will forgive all that. If He can save the most outwardly obvious sinner, he can save us too...It’s not an exclusive “be a sort of good person/sort of sinner and be saved” thing. Remember, just ONE offense to God is enough to condemn us...I guess I’m just sayin how thankful I am for what a Merciful God we have, far beyond anything any of us can really fathom...
Happy T-day to you and yours!!
