Islam has resisted Christianity for 1,400 years but if Muslims are going to be converted, it's going to take more brave souls like Fr. Zakaria. Of course, to preach as he does means to have already spiritually embraced martyrdom and to be interiorly resigned to meeting a possibly violent death. There aren't too many who would voluntarily embrace that sort of life.

Thanks for posting. I learned much that I did not know about the religion of Islam from reading the article.
Read the Bible, then read the Koran. Then make a common-sense judgment as to the origin of each.
Also remember that Satan constantly tries to work opposite God's ways, in an effort to paint himself as God's counterpart. (He is not God's counterpart, because God doesn't have one. Satan is an angel, a wholly different and infinitely lower class of being who was created by God.)
The Bible paints a heaven based on intimacy with God. The Koran paints a heaven of orgies. The Bible teaches making peace whenever possible, teaches praying for one's enemies. The Koran teaches killing those who don't capitulate. And the contrasts go on and on and on. This is how you can know the answer.

I say that Islam is a reversion to the God of the Patriarchs, which Mohammed appropriated because he recognized in that part of Genesis his own world. The irony is that liberals should honor a religion that teaches the vengeful God of the Old Testament, which they claim to loathe.
