Proof that age doesn’t necessarily make one wiser.
To: KoRn
Not necessarily related to this article, but if someone votes absentee, and dies before election day, would their vote still count? If they are Democrat, sure.

The article doesn’t say, but I hope she’s from some Yankee blue state that was going to go Dem anyway.

And this dumb old bat can get her vote counted and most of our servicemen and women can’t!

The McCain Campaign should demand that the Justice Department prosecute the nun for Voter Fraud.

“A 106-year-old American nun living in a convent in Rome could well be the oldest person to vote in the 2008 US Presidential election.”
I don’t believe so. My grandmother-in-law is 104 and she is not even the oldest person voting in Lubbock County (another voter is 105). Grandma is voting for McCain, btw.

I am sure she is breaking the law!
A 20 stretch in a Federal Prison would give her time to think about it.
lol. Your silly. I am sure that she can vote where her main nunery is. Sorta like the military. She is stationed in Rome and still gets to vote...she is a citizen afterall. Now for her thinking...now that is a different story.

Hey, Sister Helena Handbasket, that's no big deal. People hundreds of years older than you are voting for Obama this year. (I didn't say they were
alive, but they're definitely older.)
BTW, Sister, can I come to your excommunication ceremony?

And proof that this nun chooses to have no recognition for the Pope and the Catholic stance on abortion.

Somebody turn up her hearing aid and explain “partial birth abortion” to her.

As unbelievable as it may seem, most nuns supported Kerry in the last election. They do not like Bush- at all. Nuns are big on social programs, dislike Bush for the war and seem to ignore the big one- abortion.

That “big-one” defies GOD up-front. I question her senility in this matter.

If you live 50 years abroad and still are a citizen you can vote.
If she were someone else that spent the last 50 years speaking against America and has not been convicted of a felony while over seas they can still vote. A vote is right that can only being taking away for crimes when someone is convicted.
The right to vote should guarded at all cost. This is why it is so important to stop voter fraud. Voting is at the core of democracy.
