A few days ago a pro-evolution poll came out that divided young-earth creationists from everyone else to try to paint Canadians as anti-creationist. Now with additional evidence in hand it looks like we have a more balanced picture. Whether the creation museums are having a major impact or not, the evidence continues to show evolutionists are having difficulty holding their ground in the face of mounting scientific evidence.

It's really just a matter of time before someone in the conventional establishment admits the obvious regarding population genetics and evolutionary biology studies (I'm thinking Mendel's Accountant and similar software, as well as studies of beneficial mutations and whether they are phylogenetically degenerative or innovative), and announces that students that persist in believing evolutionism will be denied degrees for their obvious incompetence. ;-)

Please post again when Canada 'noves' toward free speech and free publication of opinion.

Any nation that turns over these two notions to 'human rights' tribunals is a fraud when it comes to liberty, and inalienable rights generally.

... unless you think that the people making the museum really don't believe the doctrines they are presenting, your comment above seems beneath you

Belief in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence is not something I admire.

I see this more as a case of self-imposed ignorance on the part of many of those involved. A few may even be in it for the money.

One of the items that bothers me the most is the dinosaurs and humans coexisting falsehood. There is simply no excuse for such a belief in this day and age. If someone's religious belief depends on such "facts" then they are living in a constant state of denial and self-imposed ignorance. In either case it is sad.

“In fact, you’ll notice when you read the June 2007 poll that they had a second question about dinosaurs and humans living together, and the majority believed they did!”

If creationists require belief such as above, then they will never have a chance with an informed public. This is about as reasonable as believing that the heavens revolve around the earth, as the Christians once demanded.

Sorry, I have no respect for that type of falsehood in the guise of science.

Yo, Coyoteman! My concern is that evolution has been consigned to the same level of doctrine that creationism inhabits, a thought very much in line with creationist claims.

Just the other night I saw a segment of a show entitled, I believe, "Evolution", or close to that, and it was very disturbing to me to hear the constant attributions to Evolution of powers and intentions that could just as easily have been made to the Creator.

Mother of Rome, delight of Gods and men,
Dear Venus that beneath the gliding stars
Makest to teem the many-voyaged main
And fruitful lands- for all of living things
Through thee alone are evermore conceived,
Through thee are risen to visit the great sun-
Before thee, Goddess, and thy coming on,
Flee stormy wind and massy cloud away,
For thee the daedal Earth bears scented flowers,
For thee waters of the unvexed deep
Smile, and the hollows of the serene sky
Glow with diffused radiance for thee!

- Lucretius

God created human beings in their present form within the last 10,000 years:"

LOL! And fossils are what? Devil's deception?

When Galileo Galilei showed the Vatican officials through his small telescope the moon pocketed by craters the cardinals said it was an "illusion" created by Satan to deceive us into believing heavenly bodies were not perfect spheres, that things "in heaven" are not perfect! LOL!

Yeah, everybody knows that the planets must be perfect because they are in "heavens." Talk about dark ages!

As they say: ignorance is bliss, and the more reptillian the brain size is, the more such bliss increases.

Drop Nazi related references.

No problem, I did not introduce them.

That’s curious, we went to the Georgia Aquarium this past spring and the guides explained that some of the creatures, like the alligator gar, are indeed dinosaurs.
