It's

Soooooooooo

thoughtful and kind when a rabid RC rep notes when someone in the pack has cushioned a truth-arrow’s trajectory.

Thanks.

NOBODY ever expects the Spanish, uh, I mean, Roman Inquisition!

It's so silly! Once the harpies show up, the threads go to Queen of Heaven and Inquisition and Trent and blah, blah, blah.

I wouldn't have thought that "one trick pony" could refer to a group with more than one theme over which to argue, but the argument is always the same, only the terms change.

Tra la.

Mary is not the "Queen of heaven."

And to believe such a lie leaves one vulnerable to believing other lies, like Mary supposedly being born without the stain of original sin or Mary being bodily assumed into heaven, or Mary being a mediator between God and men when Christ is the only mediator.

Your tag illustrates this pitfall perfectly.

Flee from idolatry.

DR.E: Believing Mary to be a mediator between God and men when that office belongs to Christ alone is idolatry.

PETRONSKI: Absurd and sophomoric

I agree that believing Mary to be a mediator between God and men is "absurd and sophomoric."

And worse than that, it's idolatry.

You claim that the teaching on Mary’s role as a mediator is idolatrous.

That claim of yours is absurd and sophomoric.

You said: And worse than that, it’s idolatry.

That is particularly ridiculous coming from a representative of a group that practices bibliolatry; replacing the worship of Our Lord Jesus Christ with worship of a book.

That’s the problem here. I know history.

You do not.

They invent history in the same way they invent another Christ.

Pick up ANY dictionary and read, Petronski. The "proper" spelling is "judgment." The "alternate," "secondary" spelling is "judgement."

And interestingly, if you check older dictionaries, you won't find the word "judgement" anywhere in them.

You're quite contemporary. Obviously you prefer to change with the times.

No Bible-believing Christian "worships" the Bible. The Bible is the inspired word of God, given to men so that they may know, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, of their salvation by Christ on the cross, if God so wills.

All others pay cash and get change.

You said: No Bible-believing Christian “worships” the Bible.

Correct. That is why Catholics do not. Unfortunately, many non-Catholics, being separated from the Church, through the influence of the deceiver, have fallen into this heresy, as well as an ever-increasing number of others that fall under the protestant banner.
