I would like to remind everyone of the Nondenominational prayer thread
For where two or three have gathered together in My name...
Everyone of any denonimination, (or of course nondenomination) is invited to bring their prayer concerns to the thread during the week. On Sunday evening, we gather together at the same time and lift these concerns up to the Lord.
Our first gathering last Sunday was very well received and very moving.
Very nice summary.
Love your tag line.
Let me try this again.
Non-Denom Ping!
Sorry, it seems I left an entire line of folks off.
Amen. We’re trying to do the same. Our SS now is teaching on missions and part of that is reaching out in love to people in the community, not bashing them over the head with the Bible or a tract, but just loving them. When they see Jesus in you, it’s a terrific witness.
Exactly. Our pastor has the gift of teaching and he’s wonderful. I can’t wait to get to church. I’ve even started taking NOTES. ME, taking notes! Thank you for such a good post.
Amen. Your chruch sounds wonderful.
Were you stuck between the lines?????
Sorry....had to....running, ducking LOL.
Very few churches do intentional splits. The original idea for our splits was to keep the church small enough to be personable (under 300 members) while continuing to grow. But even after the split last week we still have over 600 adult members and have an attendance of about a thousand adults weekly.
LOL. Well at least you didn't say my head was stuck there. : )
Our church does the split in order to plant churches in the local region where they see a need. Since we’re in the Metro Atlanta area, there is alot of new need due to growth.
I don’t think that size is an issue. I believe our current attendance/membership is aroud 400 or so.
We joined an up and coming Anglican movement called “AMIA”.
Anglican Mission in the Americas.
Our church is still small, approx two hundred members, but growing. We are moving onto our permanent campus around the first of the year.
I love the way Anglicans celebrate communion!!!
Our church joins with many churches in the community for outreach and so forth.
We routinely pray for the health of other Christ honoring churches in our community and their leadership / pastors.
Christianity in the Anglican tradition without the heresey and institutionalism of the Episcopal church.
It really is. We’ve been through some rough times that were very painful, but God IS Good!
Ahem, that would be mind reading LOL
I get insulted and put in the penelty box? Something ain't right here. : )
No zot, no hat trick. ;P
