“Party pooper.”

Careful there pal. You are two letters from a potty word and you know what that means.

Just for clarification. I'd need to subtract two letters, correct? :-)

uh, ahem, ...physical area that is rather large and noticeable no matter how hard I try to hide it.

Shucks now I regret not treating you with more respect in the past. :-)

Yes, but not just any two.

Our church is like that, too. It’s not a Calvary Chapel but it’s similar. We have a good balance of the Word and the gifts. Our ‘family’ there cares for one another and are willing to help out in crises. We have a biker couple (Christian) who brought their group with them last week. It was great! All Christians who love the Lord and biking! We tend to be casual but anyone can wear what they want as long as they’re clean (LOL). I couldn’t go back to my old Methodist or Baptist church. I like the freedom we have here to worship any way we feel is honoring the Lord. Some raise their hands, others don’t. Nobody worries about what the next guy is doing.

My son has worn Hawaiian shirts occasionally to church. We buy them second hand at the Salvation Army type stores. Don’t need to pay $80.

I have to laugh at our church. If the service starts at 10:00, a few get there at 9:45 and the majority of them wander in around 10:00. That goes for any event we have there as well. Funny.

As former military (and just because of my natural character), I’m one of those earlier arrivers. Our Pastor has made it clear we start on time, regardless (being late drives him NUTZ). Oh well, as long as they are there in time for the offering LOL.

So are we. Hubby is the head usher and coffee maker. We have a large SS before church and he makes the coffee for folks who want (need) it. He often goes over before I get up! I’m happy to get there by 9:00 a.m. for SS. Yes, the offering is very important! LOL.

Coffee maker - where is the biblical mandate for that :^))

Yes, the tree of life will be a coffee tree and in the words of our recently departed to Lord asst Pastor -

Decaffinated coffee is like faith without works.

I like that. He makes decaf for those of us who like it, too.

You people have no sense of style:

You won't find these at a second hand store. :-)

Koko Island. the Armani of Hawaiian Shirts.

lolol...

I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those and a $5.00 thrift store shirt.

I honestly doubt if He cares what you wear as long as you are adequately covered.

Personally I prefer this.....

I have a $100 Hawaiian shirt that was given to me when my old boss/mentor/friend died (no one else wanted it!). Has Santa in his swimsuit with a slim and young and pretty Mrs. Claus in a skimpy bikini relaxing on the beach. Rudulph is serving them drinks. I wanted to wear it to Christmas services but the Missus wouldn’t let me. (Heck - I’m surprise she lets me wear it out of the house!)

However, it IS the type of thing I would expect to find in a Thrift Store, in spite of the high price! Has fond memories for me though.

Are you going to run for President? I say that because I keep saying I will vote for Godzilla before I’d vote for a liberal. Here’s your chance...
