Do you honestly think that Baptists are like Nazis for comparrison? Sad, really. I feel sorry for you. No, not was my intention. I guess you missed my point; it was the illegitimacy of relying on a biased and hostile source for information on a third party rather than asking the third party itself.

>>Thats a far cry from saying NO RCs are idolatrous.<<
Which is a far cry from saying that all Roman Catholics are.

1900+ years of idolatry is not something to be proud of. And now we know that judgment is dungeonmasters and not God's.
"For those who believe, no proof is necessary, for those who don't, no proof will suffice". I'll pray for an end to your bigotry.

NEITHER CAN ANY RC declare accurately, emphatically, that NO RC worships Mary. Yes they can. Deifying Mary is prohibited by the Catholic Church. Anyone who does so is therefore not Catholic. You cannot be Catholic and believe that Mary is part of the godhead or not a creation of God.

I asked basically the same thing and got a smarmy answer back.

Where is there no attempt?
You must mean no new attempt, no immediate attempt.

your bigotry
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal. Reading minds of other posters is "making it personal."

Catholicism is THE Christian doctrine, 1900+ years young. The counterfeits are of a far younger vintage.
What about the other Orthodox Christians? The Pope wasn't the only early Patriarch.

The Pope may not have owned Ireland to give away ! It is interesting to note that the claim of Adrian IV., here advanced, to jurisdiction over all islands was founded, as we learn from John of Salisbury, on the forged donation of Constantine (v. Book iii. No. iii.). Urban II. had disposed of Corsica under the same pretension. Lord Lyttleton in his still valuable History of Henry II. (vol. v. p. 67) speaks as follows concerning this whole transaction: "Upon the whole, therefore, this bull, like many before and many since, was the mere effect of a league between the papal and regal powers, to abet and assist each other's usurpations; nor is it easy to say whether more disturbance to the world, and more iniquity, have arisen from their acting conjointly, or from the opposition which the former has made to the latter! In this instance the best, or indeed the sole excuse for the proceedings of either, was the savage state of the Irish, to whom it might be beneficial to be conquered, and broken thereby to the salutary discipline of civil order and good laws."from The Bull of Pope Adrian IV Empowering Henry II to Conquer Ireland. A.D. 1155
