Yeah, that sounds a lot like other Apostles given the same charge over their dispensational stewardships:

Matthew 19:28

I know you wants some equivalence with what you quoted but judgment is not Salvation as your leaders were speaking.
Your leaders are stating it is Joe Smith who will decide salvation.
Your leaders have stated that it is Joe Smith who is the redeemer.

Read your “snippet” again. As much as you want to believe Mormons worship Joseph Smith and are saved by him, it's simply not the case.

Passing by him and through the authority he received is quite different than Him being our redeemer.

Peter also had authority given of Christ, and will sit on a throne judging those under his stewardship, the house of Israel. They to will have to pass by him, and he to was given authority by Christ.

Christ is the only name under heaven whereby we can be saved. Our own scriptures, along with the Holy Bible, makes that clear.

2 Ne. 2: 9 make intercession for all.
2 Ne. 9: 5 suffereth himself to . . . die for all men.
Jacob 4: 11 reconciled unto him through the atonement of Christ.
Mosiah 3: 9 salvation . . . through faith on his name.
Mosiah 12: 21 publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings.
Mosiah 15: 1 shall redeem his people.
Mosiah 15: 9 satisfied the demands of justice.
Mosiah 18: 2 (3 Ne. 9: 17) redemption . . . through the . . . death of Christ.
Alma 5: 27 Christ . . . redeem his people from their sins.
Alma 22: 14 sufferings and death of Christ atone for their sins.
Alma 42: 15 God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about the plan of mercy.
3 Ne. 9: 17 by me redemption cometh.
3 Ne. 11: 11 taking upon me the sins of the world.
3 Ne. 15: 5 I have come to fulfil the law.
Ether 3: 14 in me shall all mankind have light.
D&C 19: 2 that 1 might subdue all things.
D&C 93: 9 the light and the Redeemer of the world.
D&C 138: 25 Savior spent about three years in his ministry.
Moses 1: 39 to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

You’ve been following these long enough sowing tares among these LDS threads that you know what I’m talking about.

I was going to give you a whole list of stuff to ponder. It is apparent that you (lds) consider Joe the redeemer by what you post your self and what your leaders say.
However, because you believe that only lds is the one true church of god, nothing I can say will be taken as truth. You, (Joe) and the other lds have made the decision to reject the Bible and its revelations in favor of some other sort of contrary thing or other.
We can go round and round but your basic premise is that I am of the fallen group and you are of the true group, lets just end it.
I do pray for you and that Christ's Glory will be revealed to you before it is to late.
Your desperate search speaks of something missing in you that needs to be filled - it is a Christ shaped void that can not be filled by Joe or Brig.

Um, thanks, but I don’t have a desperate search, I have found my redeemer, and His name is the only one under heaven whereby I can be saved.

His name is Jesus Christ, my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer, my God, my King. He has set the example for all of us.

no, if you are going to level charges, be man enough to be specific in your accusations and be prepared to back them up.

Now as for sowing tares - Im not quite sure if posting quotes, and historical facts regarding mormonism is "sowing tares"......from where I come from, it's called discernment and shining the light on darkness

I’m not going to get into a fight with you Rev. You’re on an LDS thread. Wither or not you see it that way, your tares are sown here, constantly, even if you think it’s a good thing. And that’s certainly your right. This is, after all, an open thread, you are free to say what you will.
