I have no intetnion of “tarring” anyone. It’s not my personal style or my posting style.
If that provision from the WCF has been removed, (the one calling the Pope the Anti-Christ) then I would rejoice.
I am Catholic, but my mother, now deceased, was a Presbyterian. She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church
in my area. Her pastor, who held a doctorate and was called “Dr.....”, broke away from First Pres and formed a new community called Evangelical Presbyterian. In a matter of three or four years that group split up as well.
That was the extent of my knowledge about Presbyterians, since my mother was baptized a Presbyterian after I was a convert to Catholicism and was married.
Again, if that provision re: the Pope actually has been deleted , then I am very glad to hear it.

My apologies. I didn’t mean to imply that you were the one tarring anyone. I was just trying to point out that the issue thrown into the pot by another poster had nothing to do with the beliefs of the OPC.
The Evangelical Presbyterian church is a moderate body. It could have been that some folks wanted to move to a more conservative body when they left the PCUSA; or it could have been personalities.
One point that hasn’t been made here: In most Presbyterian bodies (and I’m not sure if the OPC is one of them, but I think it is) members don’t have to subscribe to the Westminster Standards - only the officers do.
See PAR35's post #31, which excerpts portions of the thread article that speak directly to your comment. Or, if you're patient, wait until I post that chapter of the WCF itself for comments. I'm sure it will be a lively discussion.
