LDS Ping!
When a latter day saint achieves his eternal reward after he dies, is Jesus His Lord, Savior and God - worthy to be worshipped and praised?
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man (or woman) comes to the Father except by Him, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, Savior, Lord and Soon Coming King. We believe in the Holy Ghost, too.
Oh, this is so wonderful. I love our Church so much. There really is such a thing as a closed thread, meaning we can adore our Savior without any interference. This is lovely.
As Jesus has made our eternal reward possible, I imagine we will forever praise Him!
What?

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.
This is sooo beautiful and powerful. Enjoy.

“Behold, Jesus Christ is the name which is given of the Father, and there is none other name given whereby man can be saved.
“Wherefore, all men must take upon them the name which is given of the Father, for in that name shall they be called at the last day.”
Doctrine and Covenants 18:23-24
I believe this statement about the "Apostasy" knocks this thread out of the caucus designation.
They scattered; they taught, testified, and established the Church. And they died for their beliefs, and with their deaths came the dark centuries of apostasy.
I was taught in LDS Sunday school that the Apostle John never died. If the Apostle John never died, then how were the keys lost? Did John drop them somewhere along the line? Being 2000 years old, do you think maybe he forgot where he put them?
Why is the “church” of Matthew 16:13-19 considered to be the New Testament church of the current dispensation? The word “church” in and of itself does not tell what assembly it is. Acts ch. 7 refers to Israel as a nation in the wilderness under Moses as a “church.” “Church” means an assembly called out. Israel was an assembly called out of Egypt, but it is not the NT church. Why is the “church” of Matthew 16 forced to be the Body of Christ?
The Roman Catholic Church, the LDS, Baptist Briders, Church of Christ (Campbellite), and others all claim that their set-up is the TRUE church based on Matthew ch. 16.
Perhaps the church of Matthew 16:13-19 has not even come into existance yet. Perhaps it will be the Millennial Assembly (Millennial Church) when Christ establishes the Kingdom of Heaven on this earth.
The most precious thing lost in the Apostasy was the authority held by the Twelvethe priesthood keys. For the Church to be His Church, there must be a Quorum of the Twelve who hold the keys and confer them on others.

Should the Caucus have been removed?
The article did not talking about what other faiths believed it was talking and testifying what the LDS believe.
The article spoke about Apostasy and describles what the LDS beleives the Lord’s Church ordinance and at no time was it taking away from or talking about any other religion only what the LDS believes the Lord’s Church looks like.
This is like denying the LDS a right to express how we beleive and understand.
Even the scriptures testify very much of The Apostasy of the Early Christian Church

Amos 8
11 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
1 Tim. 4: 1
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Thes. 2: 3
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Acts 20: 29
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Col. 2: 22
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
By claiming the Apostasy lost something, those who are self-identified among the “Apostasy” have an interest in rebutting that anything was lost.

Who who are self-identified among the Apostasy no one was alive than nor does it have to do with .
Do they want to rebut the Bible verses too! :)
When the apostasy took place there were no Reforms or Protestants etc.
The entire apostle were killed off or died and only John was still alive and he did not form another Church.
So I don’t see their interest it has nothing to do with their individual faith!
It is not only the LDS who know this even took place there are others too who recognized it!
I assure you the Expository Files are not pro LDS!

Thank you!
I think there should be a new forum set up...a "closed" forum..called the Mormon Forum. That way, they wouldn't have to post their "devotional" and "caucus" threads every day, they could fill the forum with the propaganda from Salt Lake and talk amongst themselves and never get their tender little feelings hurt.
They wouldn't have to bother with wearing out the abuse button because no one would post anything that their leaders have taught down through the years....
Actually, it would be kind of like the state of Utah. Or like a seperate, closed community.(!) They, of course wouldn't care to come onto threads in other forums, since they might become "annoyed".
How wonderful. How marvelous. How lovely.

Would you please post a verse from the Bible that says what
you claim? I know of none.
thanks in advance,
