The Roman Catholic church doesn’t have truth. It has lost its way and is in error itself. I will never follow the RCC because of that.
Just being Catholic doesn’t guarantee you are a Christian. You can be a Catholic and not have Christ in your life. Same way with any other church. It all comes down to WHO IS CHRIST TO YOU? Have you put your faith and trust in Him or in the church?
I am sorry you left Christ’s Church for Christianity Lite. While your love for the Savior has evidently grown, I pray that you, like many others, will return to fullness in Christ that can only be found in His Catholic Church.
I’m married to one of them. He said when he realized that God’s grace wasn’t going to leave him when he committed a sin and that he could ask for forgiveness from Jesus and receive it, it was like a load lifted from his shoulders. Our former senior pastor said the same.
You can deprive yourself of the Sacraments as long as you want. It is your free choice.
Some will. Others won’t. It depends on what you do with Jesus, NOT the church.
Amen, Manfred.
You said: Have you put your faith and trust in Him or in the church?
It’s His Church so faith in Him and His Church go hand in hand.
Without His Church you can still have faith in Him, but it’s a defective faith. In order to attain fullness of faith in Jesus Christ you need His Church.
Oh, come on Petronski. Of course it is.
Yes, THE church, the Body of Christ. Hallelujah.
And we thank God for that rebellious monk!
And it remains in error as many other religious organizations do.
You said: And we thank God for that rebellious monk!
Seems to me that’s akin to saying “And we thank God for the fallen Angels!”
For me, I choose to worship God in fullness and light and reject those who reject Him.
Amen, lastchance.
I’d say they were spinning, especially Peter! And Mary!!
The Father.
Maybe some of these folks need to get out their Bibles.
Thank you for the good and true answer.
God Himself preserves His Body, the true Church of Christ. Not an edifice, not a denomination, but US, His Body.
And what good has that done for all of you? You sin and behave just as the other folks do. I see no difference because of your belief that you are partaking of the real body and blood of Christ as opposed to our belief that we are doing this in remembrance of Him. If you believe you are partaking of Christ, shouldn’t you be behaving like it?
